Romano's is my favorite Italian restaurant. I love the cute home atmosphere. The staff are excellent and friendly. I love their house chianti and homemade rolls with olive oil and vinegar but I will also ask for butter. I've never ordered anything that wasn't flavorful and very good. It's a very cozy restaurant. They had the fireplace going on a very cold and rainy afternoon. My wife and I enjoyed some clam chowder soup that was outstanding. Then came the main course. Excellent homemade Italian cuisine and wine. The service was awsome, I highly recommend Romano's.

Julian, was to me, back in the day, my favorite destination to spend a day with a special lady! The smell of apple pie in the fresh air, old town shopping, boardwalk lined shops, a corner drugstore, like the ones so many of us once visited, it had a 4 stool soda fountain, candy and snacks, next to skin lotion, soap etc. Many nice friendly people there treated us as guests.
