“The hard truth is, all of our pie places make great pie, we know bc we are locals. But the Mom's in Wynola is their actual bakery, and the crowds can be a lot more manageable here than "up" in Julian. Anyway, we stopped in with some friends recently when it was very busy and they were all pro and very nice to everyone. Are pie there again today. Wicked pie.“

“My family and I visited Julian for the day from Orange County and we stopped by The Pub on our way back home. I had the Jalapeño burger and my husband tried the Mushroom Swiss burger, and both were amazing and paired well with the onion rings! The restaurant had a tranquil vibe and the lake views just added to the ambience. We bought an apple pie from the attached store next to the restaurant to enjoy at home and I wish we had bought two. Perfect spot to stop and recharge before hitting the road! Highly recommend!“
“Julian has some of the best food out there, very underrated in my opinion. After years of eyeing Jeremy’s, my partner and I decided to give it a try. Immediately we could tell we were in good hands, every staff member was quite friendly and helpful. Upon seeing the menu, we already were impressed with the variety of options. No matter what the budget, patrons can find delicious and high quality options. It took a while to decide because everything sounded so good. My husband got a whiskey with bitters, I got a glass of chardonnay; my husband was even asked if the bitters were to his liking. I cannot stress enough how attentive our server was. As an appetizer, we opted for the truffle garlic fries; OMG amazing and very unique. For dinner, I got the chicken schnitzel and my husband got the rib eye; we both were wowed. Food was so good we ate until we were stuffed and had no room for dessert. Needless to say it was an excellent choice to come here.“
“This local eatery is recently under new management. See the attached pictures. We arrived at 16:45 on a Wednesday for early dinner. There was a party of 8 at one table and 2 servers. Most of the tables had chairs stacked on them sending a clear message that the crew wanted to go home. Official closing time is 19:00. This was very off-putting.The food and service was very good. After our meal, I wanted to go out on the lake view porch to watch sunset lighting changes, but the door was locked. Another clear message. The server unlocked it as I snapped a couple of shots.This is a management issue. The employees were trying to be efficient not recognizing the message.If we return and are greeted the same way, I think I will walk out and go to one of the good eateries in nearby Julian.“
“This place is such a charmer! Its so cute and full of all things tea. Don't forget to go to the back and up the stairs to go so even more items. The teas are all delicious and the ladies work so hard her. Also, if you are going to do an afternoon tea be sure to make reservations ahead of time. No walk ins allowed.“
“Took the family there on March 6 to celebrate my 14th anniversary. Was a great experience. The 2 young ladies who were working had great customer service. I didn't get their names. I was about closing time. The food was great . I had to tip the cook as well. I would 100% go back and recommend anyone to go there. The waitresses got tipped, too. The last time we were there was prior to the pandemic. But even the it was 100% satisfaction on food and customer service. One of my favorite spots to go to. 5 stars all the way“
“What a wonderful experience!! Great atmosphere. Our waitress, Michelle, was absolutely calming and amazing!! There were six (6) of us and she tended to us professionally. She checked on us regularly as well. Honestly, it is the best service I have had in a long time!!!I will definitely come back and eat hear again!!Wheelchair accessibility: There's a ramp to push someone in a wheelchair. This ramp though is hard to maneuver but it can be done“
