Stopped in for lunch and the food hit the spot — everything was fresh, hot, and full of flavor. The burger and fries were excellent, and you can tell they take pride in what they serve.
But what really stood out was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, upbeat, and genuinely helpful — the kind of service that makes you feel welcome and turns a good meal into a great experience. Their hospitality honestly made the trip that much better. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in Julian!

Thee absolute best place to grab great food and enjoy a great adult beverage for your trip to Julian! I brought family (wife and 3 kids 7,5,4) amd is kid friendly, and dog friendly. Fine inside or out, or sit at the bar. Veteran owned and wonderful vibes! We will stop here everytime we come to Julian

Absolutely disappointed by how we were treated here. The bathrooms had no changing table for babies - so we heard another patron ask and they told them that the employee bathroom does have a changing table that they could use & they even confirmed this with another employee. They used the bathroom with no problem and no one said anything to the contrary even when they were done. When I went to try to use the bathroom for my niece (who needed to be changed) we were scolded by an employee that we weren't allowed to use it. When I tried to explain the situation, she just said she didn't know why the other patrons did that & again we weren't allowed to use that restroom. When I explained that they were allowed to by an employee because the patron restrooms do not have changing tables for infants she just exclaimed that we weren't going to use it & needed to leave. There was a table nearby staring at us through the entire ordeal and it was such an unpleasant experience. We had a large party of 16 ppl with us and spent a good deal today but it made us all feel terrible and would not go back. UPDATE: really appreciate the quick response from the owner- I do think that speaks to the fact that they want to remedy the situation. Appreciate that they will take the time to speak to their staff so this does not happen to anyone else. Thank you

The new manager was really nice to our group and the food was great. This is a local treasure with a beautiful wood fired oven that is an amazing creation.

So Heroes is a zero. They charge way too much for a small flipping pizza, I figured for this price it would be a large. Also flys galore so definitely take your pizza to go. Also I didn’t see any sauce on my pizza and the crust was soggy. Won’t be back
