Terrible luck. Place is supposed to be a wood fired pizza place and smells of fried food. Three different wine glasses they tried serving us had lip marks all around the top. Ended up getting plastic cups to pour the wine into. Pizza took 35 minutes to make a sad roller rink pizza while a couple tables around us got their food in 5-10 minutes. Don’t order from the bar! If they could just at least clean their glasses and make sure the kitchen gets the food ticket, there is potential.

This was a spectacular stop!Stopped in for lunch not knowing what to expect. Food was great. The people were wonderful, we sat in the sun, listened to some live music and enjoyed the afternoon.I highly recommend stopping byAs a one off, the coleslaw is absolutely phenomenal. Very military friendly establishment that encompasses the spirit wonderfully! Salad portions were HUGE and the flavor was delicious! Enjoyed the fish fry - so good! We were in town for a wedding that utilized the space as the venue as well. Definitely rustic, but adorable! Definitely worth a visit.

I don't like it when they make the pizza more crust than toppings. It tasted really good, but it could have had toppings almost all the way to the edge. I also am not crazy about being expected to tip for counter service. As expensive as everyone has become I think I'm just going to eat at home from now on.

It was pouring rain and a good amount of customers. Someone asked us if we'd be ok sitting in the bar instead. We then sat in the bar.A person came to the bar after me and they were waited on first. It was loud in there with screaming kids and employees yelling to each other. AND, I had to continually walk out in the rain to go get my own sodas! They should've just let us sit on the other side and maybe we would've had a bit better experience.The burger was good and the pizza was just ok, undercooked. Too pricey for the service and food we got.

This is believe it or not. My favorite place to eat in California. After a drive to Julian. In a town near, is this place. Everything is good and I think about it all the time. My personal favorite is jammin burger It is undisputed and unique.
10/10.If you're in Julian, stop in for food! Everything we tried was amazing and the staff is so friendly and accommodating!
