Bought a cake here for my fiancés 30th bday. It was not only gorgeous, but absolutely delicious. Honestly one of the best cakes I've ever had. We got the lemon and lavender. There was no evidence we even bought a cake once we were done with it. I highly recommend!

We found ourselves in Julian and wanted a sweet treat so stopped in. We got the vegan chocolate covered cookie (pretty sure it was an oreo) the milk chocolate pistachio bar, strawberry rose chocolate bar, and the rocky road fudge. Only thing we have not tried yet is the strawberry rose. Every thing elase has been great. Really quaint cute shop. Great customer service.

Purchased dark chocolate truffles. The chocolate shell was good - it was smooth and melted on the palate. But the truffle filling was not rich enough, had a one-note sweet taste, and the texture was fairly rubbery - it resisted melting on the palate.

As after any great meal, I always need to get dessert and it was great to see there was a chocolate shop in town. I walked in and the wonderful smells hit you right away. I ended up choosing quite an assortment of truffles and every single one of them was fantastic. You can really taste the care that went into each one and how smooth the chocolate was. I would certainly go back if we are ever in town again.

My sister was in Julian over the weekend. She brought back classic dark chocolate truffles for me! Best I've ever had! Bravo!
