I'd have to say being one of the very few bakeries in the Julian area that make cakes, it was really good! I ordered the dulce de leche vanilla cake and the cake was super rich and the butter cream on the cake was delicious. Thanks for such a great cake!

Whenever I visit Julian I love hitting up their candy stores. But this one is not it. Everything is expensive and you get small quantities. For the prices you'd think they made it in house! 3 caramels for $7?? Also, the chocolates looked moldy. :/

I ordered my wedding cake from Yesenia and WOW, I could not have loved it anymore! Not only was it beautifully decorated, it was delicious! I ordered a sample box with different cake flavors and they were all sooo good! I ultimately settled for her version of funfetti and it was a hit! Not only was the cake amazing all around, she is also the sweetest! I wish I lived closer to order cakes from here more often!

As after any great meal, I always need to get dessert and it was great to see there was a chocolate shop in town. I walked in and the wonderful smells hit you right away. I ended up choosing quite an assortment of truffles and every single one of them was fantastic. You can really taste the care that went into each one and how smooth the chocolate was. I would certainly go back if we are ever in town again.

So, I have ordered another fabulous cake from Yesenia. I gave her very loose parameters about making a Montana state shaped cake. She did a beautiful job and not only was it gorgeous. It was predictively tasty too. Nothing better than Dulce Leche cake by Yesenia! The best.

We stopped in this shop over Veterans Day. It's small but super cute. We picked up a box of assorted chocolates (dark chocolate caramels, clusters and toffee) and chocolate covered pretzels. They were delicious and were packaged so cute. If I hadn't eaten them all they would have made a cute gift for someone. We will definitely come back again.
