Stop here on your way out of Julian! The pie shops in downtown Julian are packed with people and long lines but this location has more room, more parking, and a quieter atmosphere. There was a short line but it moved quickly. We ordered a slice of the berry-apple pie to-go because we were pretty full from snacks in Julian. It was the BEST sweet treat later in the evening and we even whipped up some homemade whipped cream. I don’t even like pie that much but I’d come back to this place. The shop offered so many pie flavors and two different pie tops to choose from (crumble or flaky) along options for whipped cream or ice cream on the side. There was also merchandise like shirts, honey, caramel apples, and apple cider available for purchase. Also lots of small tables and a counter at the window at which to sit. You have to stop here, even if you take a slice (or a whole pie) to-go!

Has to be THE BEST pie I’ve ever had. I know it sounds like an exaggeration, but holy cow, ….ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. We bought the Apple Cherry pie. Not too sweet, fresh tasting fruits and perfect flavor. The crust was perfect. I will buy these pies every time I am near the area. I live in LA, but I Can’t wait to go there again!

We stopped by here because Julian Pie Company was closed the day after Thanksgiving. Glad we did because the pie was good, and they have a sugar free pie. There is a nice garden on the side with tables for customers to sit and enjoy their pies. We will be coming back to this place in the future.

Best pies ever! My husband had asked for a dairy free pie and was first told all the pies had butter. He was fine with just a cider. Later a woman came up to us with a vegan dessert they had. I think they probably forgot about this option earlier. Anyways she gave it to us on the house. It was really appreciated and totally unnecessary. Definitely put a smile on his face!

Best pie on the mountain. Better than ALL the others! I love their garden out back. Such pretty flowers during spring and summer. Be sure to give some love to the kittyface whose name is flannels and is very soft and friendly. I wholeheartedly recommend Mom's Pies!

Mom's Pie House is a big favorite for our family! The location in Wynola is easy to get to, with ample parking and space -- not only is there a pleasant seating area inside, but outside there's a beautiful garden setting! And the pies and hot drinks are excellent, especially the Berry Apple Pie.
