Stop here on your way out of Julian! The pie shops in downtown Julian are packed with people and long lines but this location has more room, more parking, and a quieter atmosphere. There was a short line but it moved quickly. We ordered a slice of the berry-apple pie to-go because we were pretty full from snacks in Julian. It was the BEST sweet treat later in the evening and we even whipped up some homemade whipped cream. I don’t even like pie that much but I’d come back to...
Has to be THE BEST pie I’ve ever had. I know it sounds like an exaggeration, but holy cow, ….ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. We bought the Apple Cherry pie. Not too sweet, fresh tasting fruits and perfect flavor. The crust was perfect. I will buy these pies every time I am near the area. I live in LA, but I Can’t wait to go there again!
We stopped by here because Julian Pie Company was closed the day after Thanksgiving.
Glad we did because the pie was good, and they have a sugar free pie. There is a nice garden on the side with tables for customers to sit and enjoy their pies.
