Clean, comfortable, delicious, what more could you ask for? This is excellent food in Julian, my only regret is not making it in sooner!

The special today is carne asada fries, they are piled high with toppings, the fries are perfectly cooked and well seasoned. Their red salsa is nicely spicy and the green is so flavorful, perfect choices!

The margarita is excellent too! We will definitely be back sooner than later!

Quecho in Julian: A Hidden Gem That Hits Every Note

If you're rolling through Julian and you don't stop at Quecho, you're missing out plain and simple.

First off: the carne asada fries. They’re not just good. They’re ridiculously good. Crispy, flavorful, loaded just right not drowning in toppings, not skimping either. You’ll remember them long after you leave.

I stumbled on this restaurant in Julian by accident since it’s a bit off the main street, but I’m glad I did. It’s a really nice, cozy spot with both indoor and outdoor seating—the outdoor area is huge and set up in a traditional Mexican style, which gives it a great atmosphere.
