She checked on us regularly as well. Our favorite place to stop to eat in Julian - and that’s saying something since there is an abundance of yummy food! The food here is fresh and delicious with a cozy homey atmosphere. I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve ordered here and I particularly recommend the corn chowder and green harvest soup!

The food here is SO fresh. If you like french onion soup, this is probably the best I have ever had. My daughter didn't finish hers and I'm glad I tasted it. Ingredients are all super fresh. Had the green garden soup, amazing. Highly recommend!

Soups and Such was superb. Dined in on a chilly day in January, when hot soup sounded great. Stayed for the easy and casual ambience. The service was great and the food delicious. A spot for locals and Julian visitors alike. Ordered a pot of earl grey tea, a cup of the Green Harvest soup, and a BLT. My husband ordered the corn chowder, a BLT, and side Greek salad. The pot de crème was divine.
