Do not eat here. There are a lot of choices where to spend your money don’t give it to a business that doesn’t understand customer service.
After calling in an order for pick up and was informed it would be ready in 15 mins, I called back 2 minutes later to let them know I had placed the order at the wrong location which was over an hour away from me. I was transferred to a manager who told me the food was already plated at that I had no choice, but to pick it up. Zero understanding of the situation and no attempt to resolve it. Just “it will be waiting for you to pick up”. I really hope this wasn’t the owner because if it was it’s time for him to move on to a new career. One that doesn’t involve serving other people.
Save yourself a potential terrible experience.
Crunchy quesabirria tacos, rice and beans were so good! They have their own IPA which was ice cold and also amazing. Lots of TVs and cool atmosphere. You forget that you're next to a gas station for sure.

Alverados Mexican Grill in Jurupa Valley inside the gas station is a hidden gem. I tried the Quesataco on my first visit and OMG this place SLAPS, the flavor and freshness were next level and honestly better than most sit down restaurants.
I came back today and went through the drive thru, once again the food was absolutely stellar. My only complaint is that there are not enough locations because I would go all the time if there were more.
If you love Mexican cuisine this is a must try, highly recommend.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The 3 P’s – People, Place & Product
Alvarado’s in Ontario is the definition of the 3 P’s done right.
People: Eric always greets with a warm smile and checks in to make sure you’re good. I really admire a young man that is professional and takes pride in his job. We met Amber here about a year ago behind the bar she is so sweet and attentive. Oliver, the boss, is constantly around, chatting with guests, cleaning up, and making everyone feel welcome. The service here is top-notch.
Place: Modern, clean, and full of energy. TVs everywhere for sports, good music, and a fun bar area. The location couldn’t be more convenient—right at the gas station next to a store where you can grab snacks and drinks to go, fill your tank (or charge your EV), and hop right back on the freeway.
Product: The food is consistently delicious. My husband had the chicken flautas—crispy and flavorful. I’m a taco fan, especially their carne and pastor tacos, which are always on point. Everything tastes fresh, and the portions are generous. Alvarado’s nails all 3 P’s—people, place, and product. Give it a try and you might find yourself becoming a regular, just like we did. You really can’t go wrong here: tacos, drinks, good vibes, and plenty of TVs make it the perfect spot for a casual date night or hangout with family or friends.

Stopped here on a whim while getting gas, in the middle of a really busy work day.
Walked in thinking I'd just order my food and bounce but the restaurant has the feel of a club night in TJ: great music, excited energy, delicious food... but with better service
Every person is polite, warm, and wants to get you something.
The only problem I had is that I came before happy hour 🤣
