Perfect food gift for sourdough lovers - local, lightweight, and long lasting! So excited to discover these semifreddi crostini in bags.

For lunch had a tasty grab and go chicken muffaletta sandwich and I love knowing it's on Semifreddi bread made in Alameda.

Semifreddi's is a name well-known in the Bay area. Their main bakery is in Alameda, and this is their outlet for fresh baked goods. My favorite bread in the world, the Kalamata Olive, can be had here along with fresh baked breakfast goods and other breads.

Semifreddi’s is my favorite bakery in the Bay Area. I especially love the sourdough rye bread, and the pastries are fabulous.

Bought the Rosemary Focaccia at Lundari's to take to my sister's with a bevy of Italian deli products. Thought it was much less dense than a traditional Focaccia and lacked flavor... somewhat "Americanized." Crumbled when cut; probably not made with high-gluten flour like in Italy.
