Mayo Reserve Room pairing is five stars every time. Chef John brings wines together perfectly with curated recipes for every season. There is comfort in a familiar face serving something new every time.
As usual the food, service and wine at this fabulous establishment was superb and extremely good value for money. Chef John Locher serves the most delicious 7 course small plates menu intelligently paired with fabulous Mayo Wines. I strongly recommend this restaurant.
We've been doing the Mayo w&f pairings for almost 20 years and they have always been super. Now we finally got lamb! It may be all about the w&f, but the chef's explanations make it extra special and this visit was no exception. The closest we'll come to our European Waterways barge trips without leaving the country. We'll be back.
