Was disappointed in prior visits but decided to give them another try. They were great and I was very pleased. Service was great, food was great and of course, sitting outside surrounded by the beauty of Kenwood was exceptional. They will be seeing more of us!!

We are longtime fans of Salt and Stone. Here is our experience: We drive to Salt and Stone from the City Of Sonoma & that drive is stunningly beautiful - especially in the late afternoon. Then we arrive Salt and Stone which has plenty of parking, beautiful views of the Sonoma Valley, a gorgeous patio with a lovely pond with trees and lots of happy people enjoying good food. We always feel we are on a getaway (even though it's 20 minutes from our home). Food is always great. Service is always great. The bar area is always fun. Everybody is nice and very attentive. We have never had a bad meal at Salt and Stone and we always start with the warm olives. Enjoy...

Food was delicious and came out very fast after ordering. The prices were very reasonable for the value. The service was phenomenal. They do not cheap out on hiring sufficient staff to serve their customers. I've eaten at many food establishments in Sonoma County, Salt and Stone is hands down one of the best restaurants in Sonoma County.

We arrived seriously weary from travel and found a haven of peace and hospitality. Eating on the patio with late afternoon sun and softly splattering waterfall overlooking lily pads was just what we needed before we even ordered. The food was smashing! Two fish dishes and a salad we shared were beautifully presented with an abundance of care from the chef, with taste among the best we have ever eaten. Kudos to the staff who kept our glasses filled! Went there for a company event. Probably 20+ people in the banquet room. Service was outstanding and making a food choice was very difficult as it all looked so good. Presentation was top notch surpassed only by the flavors.
First time there. Disappointing and we had wished it was so much better... staff was inexperienced. They meant well just couldn't come through. Seems like they are trying to figure out timing and service.

I was here today with a friend. I had the French onion soup which was good, the strawberry salad was a total waste. The was only one strawberry in the salad cut in quarters. There round slices of a tasteless thing, it may have some kind of radish? We also had the class, which usually love, but today the broth was much to salty. My friend and I have been here many times.
