On the way to San Francisco I stopped by and after so many years of staying away from Denny's, now I love it. The coffee has always been good, but the food was surprisingly very good. The service was good as well. So on the way back I stopped by again. Best of all was the price.

Nothing against this particular site, had the veggie burger, not great. Plus the bread is atrocious, brioche buns probably keep longer that's why they are used but the taste sort of sweet and it just fell apart as I was trying to eat the burger.

We each had an "over 55" 2-egg omelet with hash browns and toast. There were LOTS of onions in the omelet and plenty of bacon, too. The hash browns were excellent. There was hardly any butter on the toast.

It took a LONG time to get served, but our server was terrific.
