My moms bread had a tooth pick and all they told her was to get a new piece of bread. Horrible service. Do better lol. Expensive bread for such poor quality. We weren’t asking for a new piece of bread. They could’ve addressed the situation better. Horrible management!
A King City gem, need a quick bite, a tasty breakfast? Pop into this quaint bakery for Mexican pastry, food, coffee, and more. We had their pastry and a breakfast burrito, good eating, we'll be back!

Ordered enchiladas at the King City location thinking they would be the same as the ones in Soledad and they were not. The potatoes were soggy and drenched in a red sauce. Also, the woman preparing food was not wearing gloves and touched all foods with her hands. I do not recommend.

Our family stopped here on a road trip. We all walked away with bellies full of food we had enjoyed. They have fresh pastries along one wall to choose from, then a busy kitchen whipping up warm dishes. We have vegetarians, Lacoste intolerant, and gluten free members and we were all able to find something to eat. My veggie platter was so fresh and the spicy salsa they provided as a side made it the perfect flavorful dinner. The staff were really helpful and friendly and the space was open, clean, and pleasant for dining in.

Delicious taco salad but the wait time is too long for minimal food and maximum staffing. Nice baked goods.

La Plaza Bakery was a cute little spot in Salinas . It was one of the only shops open on Memorial Day. I got the carrot and orange combo juice which was really fresh and was super carroty though. They had a fresh juicer. I also got the carnitas plate which was also freaking amazing. They didn’t skimp on the meat whatsoever it was quite dry though. The meat was incredibly tasty though add some of their house salsa to make it better! The beans and rice paired perfectly. The beans looked watery and a little off putting but they were delicious! The Mexican rice was also great. Very fluffy and loads of seasoning. The service was really fast and the servers were kind. The ambiance was ok as it is a bakery as well where you can get deserts, but the interior was alright. OVERALL I would definitely recommend La Plaza Vakery to others.
