We choose to go here over the Grid because they have shakes. The reviews, menu, and even sign on the counter had their shakes on it and then we went to order - they DO NOT HAVE shakes. I feel cat fished. It was also EMPTY in there compared to The Grid (which we should have taken as a bad sign). It got worse though, the fries had layers upon layers of salt on it and the beer battered cod was soggy. The mozarella sticks tasted bitter. Yikes! I would never recommend this place.

Pretty decent spot for a good hamburger. There is plenty of outdoor seating.

Although advertised on their website to be dog friendly, they are not. Saying there was an incident that caused them to no longer allow dogs on their outside patio. So we ordered to go and sat out in their picnic tables with a view of the lake. The server even brought the to go bags out to us

Food was good but it took a long time and major mistakes on 2/6 orders (no avocado in the avocado bacon burger, no fries with a combo meal)
Rustic place with great burgers.
This is well done for you.

It's outside dining, so the area never disappoints. The food, on the other hand, is not up to par.
We drove from Grass Valley to this restaurant because every time we drive by, it seems busy. In my mind, busy equals good food. In our case, the fries were cold, and the onion rings were hard and cold. The hamburgers were tasteless, greasy, and literally thrown together. A cool $50.00 with tip and then paying for gas from Grass Valley at $6.00 a gallon it was a total bust. I appreciate small businesses and will always support them, but in return, I do expect a decent meal.

Aside from the fact that the restaurant has a “Budweiser on draft” sign the size of a school bus but they don’t serve alcohol at all (and the staff look at you like you’re crazy if you ask to order a beer), the food is awful and the restaurant is unkempt. Everyone behind the grill had bare hands — no gloves. I ate here three days ago and just tested positive for Covid. Doesn’t seem like a coincidence. If you value your health, stay away.

Rather disappointing when you pay $11 for only 3 pieces of shrimp and tons of fries. Also despite its not that busy it takes almost 20 minutes for burgers fries and shrimp. The person that assembling the burger also doesn't seem to wash his hand and not using gloves (i am fine not using gloves as long as he wash his hand eachtime he touches non food item but he doesn't seem doing it)
