It was nice to have an unpretentious place to get a burger in North Tahoe. And the outdoor seating is a nice option. I've eaten here twice and the food was good for what it is. The challenge is that I would like to eat hot fries with my hot burger, and both times the fries did not arrive until 15 minutes after the burger. They weren't busy, they just didn't seem to care. I wanted to pay in cash but they presented a screen that looked like credit card only, so I put the cash back in my pocket and used a card. To my surprise, there was a surcharge for using a credit card.

I don't necessarily understand the poor reviews so I need to add one here. This is my favorite burger spot around North Lake Tahoe. I love the char flavor and fresh ingredients they use each time I was in this location. People were super cool and friendly. Prices are reasonable. Outdoor patio is great. Expectations wise, if you love a great burger, don't hesitate to give them a visit. If you are worried about the girl at the register not being as talkative as you would have hoped for, or they may be out of milkshakes, go elsewhere...

We were surprised to be told no milkshakes were available, even though we later saw them served to other families.
Our family went in to order a kids meal, two entrees, and a milkshake. We were told by the cashier (Alex) that neither the ice cream, nor the milk, advertised with the kids meals, were available. They also told us that they had no ice cream, and their milkshake machine was broken, so we couldn't order a milkshake either. Disappointed, we placed the remainder of our order and ate outside. Shortly thereafter, we watched as they served multiple milkshakes to other customers. When we went up to ask the cashier about this, they were extremely defensive. Then when they noticed us taking a video, claimed they had just received a shipment of ice cream 30 minutes ago and offered us ice cream and a milkshake. However, we decided to take our business elsewhere. After this negative experience, it leaves me wondering if this treatment had something to do with our race.

One of the worst places I've ever tried. Hot dog was full of souce so we couldn't finish it. How is it possible to make a bag hot dog?! :) The same about burger and fries. Ribs were so dry like they were cooked a day ago. Do not recommend this place .
