let me tell you something. I grew up in Sun Valley. Tahoe is part of me. My sister called the night before. They didnt take reservations. But, we told them what was up. my sisters n I planned a weeks trip for my mother's 78th birthday. We hadn't all been all together since my littlest sister was 4... 36 yrs later we are all in one place. Our mother wanted to see her friends. Basically our second set of parents growing up. We pretty much pretended we were nonchalant about it. Their daughter n us put a scheme together to surprise them all. Weeks of planning. The night staff left a note for the morning staff. They open at noon. The party of three showed up at noon... us, the party of six showed up 10 minutes fashionably late. So we could surprise n give our elderly parents arrhythmia.The staff was awesome! Table ready, James our waiter was spectacular...the food.... awesome. Not many restaurants would be asking as people came in... are you the party of 9? lol my sister from another set of parents...as her mom confused said " no we are a party of 3" and her daughter leaned back and whispered ..." yes we are the party of 9. but they don't know shhhh!" it was spectacular! Thank you to the staff... you all rock! I hope if we ever make it back and you're still are rocking the vibe we got today, we will be there. You all take care of your staff. Today this place made our moment so special. We cant say Thank you enough.

We both walked in with drinks in our hands and were told after we put the orders that we aren't allowed drinks from outside. Rude. Say it upfront. It's like you want our business but also will make us feel bad.

We walked in to the restaurant with coffee in our hands, they said nothing. We were seated.
Once we had placed the order, the server said we don't allow outside drinks so finish them up quickly.

They could have told us this as we entered and we would take the business elsewhere.
You don't wait till your guests have ordered and then be rude to them and make them feel bad.

Loved the food and the ambience. The service staff were awesome. Loved the grilled artichokes and the crab cakes.

Started with happy hour in the bar with drinks and appetizer, both of which were good. Bartender was on top of it. We moved to a table for dinner and that's where things kind of went sideways. Nobody waited on us for some time so had to go to the bartender for an assist. Mind you they were not busy at all. Waiter came and took our order which was for a prime rib sandwich and shrimp and scallops saute with pasta. A prime rib dinner was delivered which my husband happily ate but at full price. My dish was ok but really lacking in flavor. Good amount of shrimp and scallops but there was no sauce, just smothered in cheese. Waiter never brought us any water so I again went up to the bar to get water. I think the Waiter was more interested in flirting with the other waitstaff than serving tables.

This place is WONDERFUL!! Great atmosphere, yummy menu (we had clam chowder and hot apple pie) our waiter, James, was very fast, efficient and showed us cool bear photos on his phone! We rate this a straight 10- checked all the boxes for us!!!!

Service was great. Only complaint, the kitchen pushed food out. Salad and entree at that same time. Not good.

Good spot for lunch on the patio. Food was decent priced but $5 for a Coke is highway robbery. Would still go back but the soda pricing should be changed.

The most pathetic and saddest, tasteless burger I have ever had.. it’s probably frozen, zero flavour, it was like eating cardboard.. French fries were certainly frozen too.. the lady who served us was really sweet and lovely.. location is good..

Affordable quick lunch at a tourist spot, food is decent. The short ribs are tasty and really good price at happy hour.
