The staff was friendly, but if lattes are going to be $6, please train your baristas how to steam milk. My latte was simply espresso + warmed milk.

Amazing spot right by the beach with super friendly and kind staff, not to mention wonderful coffee. My dirty chai latte was so good I had to come back the next day for another!

The most disgusting coffee on the north shore
What a treat to have a local owned and run coffee shop that does NOT dilute their drinks! Having returned from Bend Oregon, where you would think one could get a great Chai Latte - every local and commercial place I went served watered-down Chai Lattes - so dissapointed - and it seems to be trending. I realize how hard businesses are struggling - but I would rather pay more and get a creamy tasty latte - then a watered down one I end up throwing out. THANK YOU Chelsea and JAVA HUT for serving tasty, creamy, hearty Chai lattes!

Underwhelming experience
I ordered a coconut mocha latte and had specifically asked for it to be made less sweet just 1 pump of syrup(1/2 pum mocha and 1/2 pump coconut), but it still turned out quite sweet, this costed me $8(with tip). I noticed my cup was missing instruction and thought might have missed it. When I went back to mention this, the response didn’t feel very warm or understanding. They suggested adding an expresso shot to make it less sweet(i dont know how that makes it less sugar), I suggested adjusting it with an espresso shot and some milk- i payed additional $2.40 for it. They tried, and I appreciated the effort. Even with the fix, the drink didn’t quite balance out and now it was $10+ drink for a small latte. For the price, I would’ve hoped for a more thoughtful and welcoming response but left with sour experience.
Really bad coffee with bad service
The blonde server that works here is so rude and unfriendly. Both times I tried this place, she had the worst attitude, like she hates her job. Didn’t even feel comfortable asking about the menu. This place needs to bring back friendly workers with good vibes!
I’ve never in my life had this happen before at a coffee shop: I ordered an iced quad shot vanilla latte, and I think I received an 8 shot drink. I was charged $12 for the drink which was already mysterious, and then I received the drink itself (no ice in it) and then given a separate cup of ice???? Look at the drink that is not two double shots….. What is going on in this store??
I will say everyone here was very nice which is the only thing saving my review.
The owner is amazing! It’s cute and the coffee is amazing!!!! Highly recommend!

We loved everything about this place. They were all so nice especially the owner who went out of her way to give us and our little dog special treatment. Definitely recommend!
Today was my first time here. My latte-- 4 shots-- was superb!! As was the service!! The latte was smooth, rich, and creamy! Chelsea-- I will be back!! ☕️☕️☕️😎
Good coffee but the Quintessential pretentious Tahoe atmosphere is absolutely not worth the price unless you enjoy paying top dollar to feel like you’re not a local by the locals and staff. - better off exploring other places
Fantastic little coffee shop. Great cozy, lively vibes, and some of the friendliest most chill staff. If I lived here I'd be here on the regular!

Stopped here for coffee and some pastries our first morning in town, and it was so good we had to come back every morning. The staff was so friendly with everyone and the coffee was perfect. I'll definitely stop by again.
