Oh my gosh, where do I begin?? Starting with the darling hostess,followed by the friendly bartender who makes a mean Bloody Mary, we were seated shortly after 5:00, as they don't start seating until then. Our waitress was a doll, the restaurant was packed by 5:15, I was amazed. The salad dressing was delicious, the sourdough bread warm. I ordered veal parmesan and it was out of this world! I am from SF, so I have eaten at many Italian restaurants and Lanza's was amazing....
Food was delicious. Our server Heather was fantastic. One of our party had an allergy and we felt totally confident that we would not have an issue thanks to how attentive Heather was. The cheesecake topped off a really excellent experience.
This is a cute small house style place to eat Italian food. Nothing stood out too much. The chicken piccata was OK. The spaghetti with meat sauce was better. Service was a little slow.
