This was the perfect spot for my mom’s birthday dinner with a group of 9. I loved the ambiance and they were playing great music. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. Would definitely come back.

Best place in north Tahoe hands down. Intimate setting, food prepared by an outstanding chef. Super charming. Best food ever.

This is a hidden gem! We had a five course meal and EVERYTHING was just so delicious: fresh bread with humus, scallop appetizer, cauliflower soup, California sea bass with roasted vegetables and buttery rice and bread pudding. The seasonings in the sauces were just so exquisite, very tasty. You have to get the bread pudding! It comes with whipped cream and a ball of vanilla ice cream. All the food is made from scratch in the kitchens. Jessie, our server, was very personable.

Great place to order a fine meal. Good selection of wines. I had the scallops and they were cooked perfectly. Save room for a top notch dessert.

The restaurant is definitely a rustic vibe, infused with cozy, decent and warm interior. The chief explain the daily specials and we ordered salad, dust and Ono fish, the plate is medium and looks just real fine. For the cuisine, the taste is not very balanced, the source is sharp which has the most credit and creativity! Overall it is a nice choose in the North Tahao :) *͈ᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈ෆ

Too crowded asked me to wait 1 hour for 1 seat. On a Wednesday evening so I went elsewhere

Our waiter wasn’t as attentive to the fact we were celebrating my birthday!

I’m honestly unsure what the hype is about this restaurant. It’s extremely stuffy in the restaurant with basically no air flow. The food is pretty good but too expensive. The wine menu is almost entirely led by bottles instead of the ability to buy by the glass, and perhaps the most ridiculous item (of which I’ve never experienced in my whole life, from fast food to Michelin star) is when they charged my husband to take bell peppers out of two dishes they said they’d be happy to adjust. He is ALLERGIC TO BELL PEPPERS. If you don’t want to make alterations to a dish, just say you can’t. To charge customers who are spending $200+ on dinner for each (tiny) dish change due to an allergy (not a dislike) is insane and makes your “nice” establishment look low class.

Would not recommend. There are much better places to eat in the Tahoe area. Go there.

Another excellent meal at Sol. Delicious Duck and beautifully fresh scallops. Impeccable service per usual. We'll be back.

We ate here on our last night in Tahoe. The meal was excellent and the hummus appetiser & cauliflower broth was an off menu addition to the meal which was a really nice touch… as well as being very tasty. The meal was a nice change from what we have had in America, with carefully cooked vegetables and excellent sauces complementing the meat / fish and included in the price.
The staff were friendly and Steve, the head waiter, was very professional and took the time to go through the food specials and choices and make us feel valued guests.

Food was so delicious and flavorful. The ambience was cozy and satisfied me well. Highly recommend the filet mignon with the brandy sauce and the Asian ginger salad! I love how so much detail is described to you about the food, you can tell alot of thought and energy go into curating their menu. 10/10, btw they only accept reservations so don’t do yourself a disservice and visit this place at least once on your trip to Tahoe. ?
