Wanted to leave this review right away to make sure we could capture the experience! Do not sleep on this restaurant. First off we were greeted by Emma and had the pleasure to be waited on by Steve. We immediately felt like family and the energy was unmatched. The cabin-like atmosphere was so warm and the artwork on the walls really made it feel like home. To the food: We started off with the Lobster Wontons and they were delightful. The perfect mix of spice and warmth and we made sure to sop up the sauce with bread. Round two was the scallop special and we actually had to order more bread to make sure we didn’t leave any sauce in the plate. The scallops were cooked perfectly and the texture and freshness was second to none. Then came the filet mignon with the shiitake mushrooms, blue cheese and brandy with burgundy butter. The steak was as soft as the butter on top of it. Not only could you cut it with a fork but after tasting the sauce I had to ask my wife if we were dreaming. I asked for a straw so I could drink the rest of the sauce on the plate. As you could imagine we were stuffed and ordered dessert to go. We devoured the flourless chocolate cake and the bread pudding would have been the perfect breakfast if we didn’t finish it already! All in all, this was an outstanding experience being in Tahoe for the first time. It is the kind of restaurant you want to start traditions around.

Atmosphere is cozy. Our waitress, Jess K, was lovely. Love that there's vegan options- and the soup of the day was so good.
My husband loved the fettuccine and oatmeal cookie dessert! We also had the Thai curry no chicken and udon noodles. They had a lot of flavor and presentation was great but speaking only as a vegan with limited options, I don't know that I'd go back as the two noodle dishes I tried had more of a tart taste than I prefer. That said, my husband would absolutely go back to try other items! This establishment has been in operation for a long time and there's a reason so I'd recommend any first timers to definitely try.

First time in Tahoe(and first on the north shore) super happy to see a place like this that has thrived over so many years.
Popped in for a quick dinner and everything was wonderful. The staff was hard at work and very thoughtful, my waitress Jessica was fantastic taking care of us, and loved what we ate.
Got the fettuccine, the noodle bowl, the curry, and the ice cream+oatmeal cookie w/blueberry sauce.
Loved it all! Thank you all very much for what you do!

Great place for any occasion. Very nice outdoor seating are, very cosy inside. Great service, great food.
If there a way to thumbs down some of these reviews, I'd be holding some of these folks accountable. $1 for a substitution is about the principle of the inconvenience and empathy for a restaurant thriving in Tahoe and it's seasonality. This place rocks every time I go. The wine menu is well selected and well priced if you know what to look for. The sea bass we had tonight was among the best we've ever had and the scallops always rock. The ambiance brings you back in time to Tahoe before Tahoe became full of Bay Area, post-Covid ex-pats, and that includes me! We hope this place thrives for another 50 years because we'll be here for it.

San Fransisco meet Lake Tahoe! A place where you would be comfortable in a sport coat OR polo shirt. Anniversary or just a midweek date night, you can’t go wrong.Very nice menu and expansive wine selection. Outdoor seating was nice and comfortable, indoor is very quaint. If you are looking for funky and charming with good food and good service, you will really enjoy Soule Domain

This was the perfect spot for my mom’s birthday dinner with a group of 9. I loved the ambiance and they were playing great music. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. Would definitely come back.
