Fantastic! Authentic Mexican experience in Kings Beach for 30 years.
small cozy place with authentic food!! get a table outside and enjoy your food while watching traffic and magic of lake tahoe!!
The lady at the front cant understand you. As a local the worst part is its now 4.25 for a little taco. thats 8.50, basically 9 bucks for 2 tacos. Pathetic prices! highest tacos in all of North Lake. Gus bbq in Incline does 3 types for $2 for happy hour, bear belly brewing has a food truck that does $2, the CBC casino outsides food does taco Tuesdays for $2. The best tacos in North Lake are at Truckee Jaliscos (unaffiliated) and are 3.50, 75 cent less with many more options.
Food was good, nice spot. Was expecting a little more in the flavors but it was not bad.
Taco Hell
Your better off going to Taco Bell for more authentic Mexican food. Asada quesadilla zero flavor and a bad after taste. She overcharged us $20 And my wife had show her on the menu of the prices before she would give her the money back.
Awesome tacos , try the BBQ taco called babaquo.! Trust me a lil hot sauce and lime !!!! Mmmm
100% recommend Tacos Jalisco! Visiting from Reno, and coming across outstanding food and impeccable service definitely makes a grate experience. Gracias señora Rosina!
Small place but really delicious. No wonder it's been serving authentic Mexican food estilo Jalisco for over 30 years.

Food was not flavorful. Salsa tasted like tomatoes. Chips looked like they were refried several times. $5.75 for tiny chips and salsa. Chicken tacos tasted like canned chicken. Steak tacos were dry. Stomach cramps after eating here. The seating is not great. The bathroom was clean.
Wheelchair accessibility: Not at all accessible for wheelchairs to order food. Someone else could while you wait down stairs.

Bad service. We went in and ordered a carnitas burrito and they gave us chicken, so we asked politely about it before we ate any more because it said carnitas on our receipt. That’s when the woman at the front lied to us, insisting in an angry voice that it was pork while I was literally holding it in my hand. She didn’t even look up at me. The burrito tasted ok, not much flavor in that or the salsa/chips, and the portions were small for the price. Horchata was pretty good
There’s better Mexican food right up the road for similar prices, one star experience overall

Expensive for what you get. Food lacked flavor.
This place always has good food! They could step up their michelada game like the jaliscos in reno! But overall great people and food!
