his is my go to place to stop for lunch and drinks after a good hike or any time I'm making my way from Carson City to the San Joaquin Valley. In addition to being located in a historic saloon, they have really good brisket, burgers and have a host of other tasty dishes and sharables. Of course, being that this is an establishment to imbibe in, they do have a decent selection of beers, whiskeys and a myriad of specialty cocktails as well. While I prefer to sit at the bar...
great food, there smoked brisket sandwich it amazing. most of the time we come we sit outside because it's so nice but the atmosphere of the inside of the restaurant it's very cool and cozy feeling.
Ate here twice and the food was underwhelming. The burger one night was just OK, the Brisket sandwich was swimming in liquid from the slaw, and Fry’s were way too salty both nights.
