Forest Cafe Reviews
Open Sunday nights for dinner. Most others are not open Sunday nights. Power was out everywhere but Forest cafe had a back up generator to keep the restaurant open. Great service and very cool place to eat. Food was good and priced right. Thanks Burkholder’s from MN

Forest Cafe is a must-visit spot for those exploring the redwoods. Located near the Trees of Mystery, this restaurant offers a clean environment, friendly service, and delicious food. The BBQ burger and hamburgers are highly recommended, with a nice grilled flavor. The Chainsaw (roast beef, bacon on grilled sourdough) and clam chowder soup are also popular choices, along with the Blackberry cobbler for dessert. The decor is fun, especially for families with kids, featuring quirky wall murals and an underwater-themed ceiling. The kid-friendly atmosphere includes a good kids menu and no charge for sharing a plate. The accommodating staff, quality ingredients, and quick service make it a great stop for a satisfying meal in the Redwood National Park area. Some find the food overpriced, but the friendly waitresses and unique ambiance keep visitors coming back. A must-stop for lunch after exploring the Trees of Mystery.
