WE LIKE SPICY!!! And now we found a Myung Ga even closer to us. FELT LIKE A WINNER as soon as we walked in!!! Same no frills, chill vibe as their Arcadia location. Just all about the food. Bubbly, spicy cauldron of ribs and glass noodles in their spicy galbitang. Huge, meaty chunks of pork in their gamjatang. And their KIMCHI!!! Plus all the utensils, napkins and even toothpicks are in this convenient drawer at each. Condiments, water and tea ready at the table. We already want to come back!!!

Far away from k-town but Myung Ga was delicious! You know it’s legit when you see mostly older Koreans eating there for dinner. The sulangtang was perfectly rich and plenty of noodles and beef. The kimchee is made in-house and was so tasty. The pork cutlet was massive and seasoned with so much flavour. Definitely a great meal and looking for opportunity or reason to drive back for another meal.

The exterior looks like a temple, but inside just very simple, staff was very kind and fast. The food is very to my liking very good, no bad smell at all from the gopchang and blood cake, jokbal was just perfect.

This is a very clean restaurant that's located in a suburb area! Kind of like a hidden gem Korean cuisine to try hang over soup, ox tail soup, or soondae soup in a cold day. Or if you feel like to just sit down with your friends or coworker to enjoy casual dining, I would highly recommend it. The prices were very reasonable for any type of dishes. And the servers were friendly and helpful! Although a lot of Korean restaurants have servers that do not speak perfect English, this restaurant's servers seemed to have no problem with communicating (I.e. recommending food, describing what each dish would taste like, etc.) They have ample parking spaces for like 10 cars to park. It's a stand alone building and a lot of parking were available when I went. I would give 9/10!

The rice bowls are the same as in regular restaurants. This is a bowl that does not rust. It doesn't bend either. The person who left a comment below seems to be talking about a different restaurant.

Great place, but the stainless bowl they are using to serve the rice was rusted. It must be not really stainless but very cheap material. I found it twice and complained, but they are not chamging it. It is very thin metal that I could bend it.

My go to place for comfort korean food. I to go from this restaurant atleast once a month for their spicy galbitang. The broth is so rich with a kick of spice, their radish kimchi is amazing and everything tastes amazing. I do feel as if their meat size got smaller over time and im just left with big bones and little meat but their broth taste is something i cant get over. If youre looking for an extra kick, i would get their bossam as well. I absolutely cannot stand the smell and taste of gamey meat and their pork belly is wonderfully flavorful as well as their radish bossam kimchi. 10/10 from me.

For being way far north, this is solid. When it's pretty much filled with K nationals you known it's a good sign. We were fortunate enough to get the last bossam and it delivered in taste and quantity. Galbi tang was also good but my pickiness wanted each to be with large chunks of meat but alas they won't do that, certain ribs are towards the end of the rib cage and didn't have a lot of meat. But all in all we enjoyed ourselves and tasted the authenticity. I wish the service was a bit more attentive but when full they are stretched.

I bought two bowls of yukgaejang. It was nice because the soup was not salty and there were many soft meat and fresh bean sprouts. The price was more expensive than average, but it was acceptable in terms of quality. So I gave it 5 stars. But when I tried to eat another soup I had stored in the refrigerator, I was surprised to find that there was too much hardened oil. When I checked while removing the hardened oil layer, it was about 2mm thick. If I didn't put the soup in the refrigerator, I wouldn't have known there would be so much oil. It has so much oil that I'm worried about my health, so I correct it to 4 stars. If the soup has the same problem next time, I would never want to buy it. Please boil the soup in the kitchen, remove the oil, and sell it.

The Gamjatang here is very good. The cuts of meat/bone are very easy to eat. The bones are not too small and there is a lot of meat. It’s not too spicy. This will now be my go to Korean place in the area. I will try the pork cutlet next time.

Authentic and delicious korean food in the La Canada - Glendale corridor area. Serivce is always friendly and if there is a wait, you are seated as quickly as possible. Thank you for the delicious food and service (without having to go to Koreatown always) :-)
