Well, as they say… “they don’t make ‘em like this anymore.” What a DELIGHTFUL experience at Berge’s. I had the turkey & avocado, while another friend has the grilled cheese & tomato basil bisque soup. Both were so, so good. When one of the employees had realized 2 of us in our party of three hadn’t tried the soup… they sent over 2 smaller cups to make sure we got to experience the magic.

Seeing Queeny preside from her table at the most charming sandwich shop in Los Angeles and conversing with her regulars would be enough to recommend this JPL haunt. The quality of the corned beef sandwiches here takes it over the top.
