My family, friends, and I have lunch and dinner here regularly. Over the years, Allessandra and her family have become good friends and always treat us like part of their family. From food to wine to service, they are always 100% on point. Consistency is key to me, and consistant they have always been.
Some of our favorites include the homemade fresh bread, (Its addicting), margarita pizza (no tomatoes), lobster pasta, ricotta and spinach ravioli, rigatoni bolgnese, rigatoni with braised filet mignon....the list goes on and on...but please make sure to save some room for the ultimate dessert. Alessandras famous homemade panna cotta, WOW! Its the best dessert I've ever had. She makes it using real vanilla bean, tops it off with fresh strawberries and it is out of this world! It will make you want to come back for more, so make sure to take one or two to go. (Thats what we do).... :-)

Our group of four enjoyed a relaxing friday lunch at this trattoria near Descanso Garden. We ordered a panini, an eggplant pasta, fettucine bolognese, and chicken marsala. I wiped my plate clean, alla scarpetta, with the house made bread. Finished off the meal with owner-recommended espresso and cannoli. Next time, we would try their pizza!

Our family has been here before, a couple years ago, and it was good. Recently, I don't know what happened but the food was absolutely horrible, tasteless, the wait staff was bad also. Even the wine was terrible, they buy the cheapest product they can get not the best for the customer. I would recommend going somewhere else for Italian food.

Delicious, authentic Italian food served piping hot and cooked to perfection. Berthe was our server and she and Jose couldn’t have been more attentive to us and our fellow diners.

The pricing was very reasonable considering the astronomical cost of food and leasing of their location. I saw bubbling pizzas and people raving about the lasagna, which my husband also ordered and enjoyed. I got the eggplant parmigiana. The first thing I noticed about this starter dish was that the sauce was entirely homemade. And, unlike so many restaurants these days, the chef did NOT overly salt his sauce or any of our choices. BRAVO. This was a welcomed change. Every bite delicious and the portions so large we had to ask for boxes. My husband and I each had two courses and he had 2 glasses of Chardonnay. The bill before tip was about $100. (before tip)… We felt we really got our money’s worth plus enough food for a whole other meal.

Give them a try. We think you’ll be pleased. too.

Atmosphere and dishes are great (except freeway noise). Annoying was that the server did not inform us of prices when suggesting specials. Later found that the specials cost 30-50% more than the ones on menu. The specials did not sound any more pricy than similar items on menu. Does the restaurant think customers are ready to write blank checks? The restaurant can remove the price info on menu, and see how customers respond.

Absolutely astounding cute little place that has both indoor and outdoor seating. The fettuccine bolognese was delicious and the service was such a lovely touch. So glad I stopped by for a quiet little lunch here!

After mountain bike adventures I stopped at this wonderful cafe with helpful staff, where I tried spaghetti in tomato sauce with a pleasant spicy taste. Once here, where it is worth dipping a pleasant homemade bread in butter with basil and you will feel how thoughts about your excess weight began to dissolve. Definitely five stars!

If you’re looking for great Italian food, then this is the place to go. Spent the afternoon at Descanso Gardens and was so delighted to find a quaint, romantic restaurant nearby. Owners were very friendly, service was perfection and the food was delicious.

I walked into the restaurant to just order a coffee. I gotten coffee here before . I was wearing casual wear . Jeans and polo . The guy didn’t like my appearance. Because I have a shaved head ! Idk . Told me they don’t sell coffee there ! I liked this place . Their food is good . I sometimes order pizza to go but never coming back to this racist place again.
