I've enjoyed bringing my friends here for a while now and especially like their expanded lunch menu and friendly staff. The place is always clean and tidy, though my preference is for a more warm and homey feel. You'll enjoy their fresh and tasty menu!

The chicken and waffles is a must try! The waffle is buttery soft the chicken is perfectly seasoned and moist. My partner had the spicy Honeybird and could not say enough good things about it. & the Mac salad - get it as your side - It’s fantastic!! I tried to figure out what was in it to make at home. The service was great other than I ordered cold brew & although I usually like it without cream and sugar- I was never offered any and their cold brew was slightly bitter. Everything else was excellent!

I popped into Honeybird after a hike and their crispy fried chicken hit the spot. The batter is super light but still shatters in the best way. Collard greens had a little vinegar kick that cut through the richness. Seating is casual and bright, and orders come out faster than you’d expect. Parking in the small lot gets tight around lunch, but street parking on Foothill works fine

Love their honey bird sandwich! Good crunch, good flavor! Had so many sides to pair with it. The beans are really good but they’re dinner only so only available after 4pm. Parking was relatively easy on the street but there’s parking in the back as well.

Stopped here on a road trip and I’m so glad we did! The food was really excellent with large portions. The side dishes really stand out! They were unique and delicious! I will be stopping here every time I pass it.
Stopped by here for lunch and wasn’t really impressed.. I had high hopes after reading the 5 star reviews. Spent close to $30 just for myself, the honeybird sandwich with mashed potatoes and a slice of banana cream pie and a sprite.
Honestly disliked that they ask for a tip on the screen when you still have to clean up after yourself (buss your own table), order at counter and pick up your food at another window.
The food was alright.. not outstanding. Pie was a let down, they claim to be handmade but the crust is giving cardboard taste.
Needless to say I won’t be returning or recommending..

A great place for contemporary southern style chicken, sides and desserts! Rotating selection of side dishes some of which are vegetarian. I had the chicken sandwich (amazing!) and a side of chipotle macaroni salad which was also incredible. The desserts like the banana pudding pie are also a sure thing and all portions are generous.

Stopped here after visiting Descanso Gardens in La Canada Flintridge. The restaurant was highly recommended on Google and only 5 minutes away from the gardens. The atmosphere was very chill, the restaurant was clean, and we were greeted upon entry. I ordered the 2 piece meal which came with two pieces of chicken (I ordered a leg and thigh) and two choices of sides (I ordered mashed potatoes and collard greens). The food was fresh, the chicken was crisp on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside. The mashed potatoes were delicious 😋. My only problem was the collard greens 😔; they were too sweet for my taste (I prefer my greens to be a little bitter) If it weren't for the sweet greens, I for sure would've given 5 stars as opposed to 4. I also wasn't crazy about paying $7 for two biscuits Yes, they were pretty big size and very good but it would have been nice if they came with the meal...but that's just my personal opinion. 😉 Overall, I was very satisfied and would definitely go back. 😊
