A great place for contemporary southern style chicken, sides and desserts! Rotating selection of side dishes some of which are vegetarian. I had the chicken sandwich (amazing!) and a side of chipotle macaroni salad which was also incredible. The desserts like the banana pudding pie are also a sure thing and all portions are generous.
Stopped here after visiting Descanso Gardens in La Canada Flintridge. The restaurant was highly recommended on Google and only 5 minutes away from the gardens. The atmosphere was very chill, the restaurant was clean, and we were greeted upon entry. I ordered the 2 piece meal which came with two pieces of chicken (I ordered a leg and thigh) and two choices of sides (I ordered mashed potatoes and collard greens). Honestly disliked that they ask for a tip on the screen when you still have to clean up after yourself (buss your own table), order at counter and pick up your food at another window.
