I'm Korean and a foodie. I happened to be in the area and found this restaurant on Google, so I decided to try it. Honestly, the food is not good at all. It's surprising to see so many positive reviews. On top of that, it’s quite expensive. The prices on Google aren’t updated—everything on the menu is now $20 and up. I paid $25 just for a bowl of soondaeguk.
I think this is a really legit Korean diner! Staff seems great and place is clean and simple like you would find in Korea. For the first time, I tried cold bean noodle soup. It has such a thick and creamy soymilk broth, a very filling treat on a hot day. The super flavorful banchan complement really nicely. Exceptional quality.
My boyfriend and I split the the yukgaejang or the spicy galbitang. They’re big bowls of soup and it’s pretty filling for two people if u get extra noodles and extra rice bowl. The ladies that work there are really kind and attentive. Unlimited kimchi, fish cake and radish so it’s a diverse dinner even if you only order one thing, which we do. I don’t see how one person could finish a large bowl all by themselves. With the soup and a beer the total sums up to 30 bucks...
