Local dive bar meets taproom. Cask and Hammer is a craft beer Taproom but they do have ultra on draft and Pacifico. Modelo bottles too but I think those are for the Micheladas mostly. —Service Notes at the end— About 30 craft beers on draft more on the IPA and seltzer side. Beers Always rotate so every few weeks it’s different. The house beers stay the same such as the blonde and red ale. It is a small location but adequate with bar seating and high tables along the wall. Pool table in the back and patio with a few picnic tables. Nice design for a taproom and not a standard dive design. Chalkboard menu for the beers is huge and sets the tone. They do sell bar eats they heat up in those toaster ovens. They have always had a cocktail menu buts its wine/soju based since this place owns a BEER AND WINE license. Service: as a local I’ve been coming here on and off for years. In the beginning it felt like a taproom however a lot of my peers have mentioned it is starting to feel more like a dive than anything. Service is fine for any bar where you just want a beer. As far as recommendations go on what to drink, not much help there.

only good thing about this place is the lovely bartenders. but I recently found out they retaliated against & fired their best employee and now this place has lost all of it’s charm for me. she served the best drinks & had a bright, social personality. this establishment is a complete sausage fest & I wouldn’t recommend the girlies come here unless you wanna get hit on by creeps. drinks are mid & the beer is overpriced. won’t be visiting this establishment ever again nor do i recommend anyone come here.

They have a ton of craft beer. I'm not a craft beer guy, but their house blonde is a great sub for anyone who likes bud, miller, coors, etc. It's mellow - you don't have to worry about bar fights or anything. They'll put the game on if ya ask. Good neighborhood bar.
Parking: Spots in front fill up fast, but the whole lot never fills up.

We went in and no one was there. We got up and ordered at the register. I ordered a Cadillac margarita and the cashier gave me a glass of wine. I told her I wanted a margarita and she told me that was a very bad taste. By the way, I had to leave it there and leave that place. I will not come back

First of all the house beer tastes like piss, I only came here for the craft selection since my band practices nearby. Second, the owner is a kook. He offered me a job and the same day told me to come in at 8:30pm - 2am, so I cancelled plans and was on my way from LA, then he changed his mind around 7:30pm and said not to come and next week I would be on the schedule. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and even turned down a few other jobs thinking I would start soon but he never got back to me and left me hanging for 2 weeks with no reply. What a waste of time. I’m over this spot, I told all my friends not to come here any more. Afterwards, people have told me he is a creep and only hires attractive girls to attract dudes. Lame.

I give 3 stars for food because I'm not sure if they sold food, I just went for a few drinks with my friends. The service was excellent, the people were very smiling and friendly. The place is quiet and I really liked its theme. It's my first time going and I will definitely return.
