Very friendly employees. They make an excellent chai latte. And it is a great place to get a quick bite to eat and have conversation.

Not really a restaurant, or a bakery or cafe for that matter, but it is on a corner, kind of. Where to start, oj is not freshly squeezed, food came out luke warm, bread was barely toasted, burnt bits of onion in the scramble, small portions. I ordered a coffee but 2 of the coffee dispensers were empty, I notified one of the staff, 10-15 mins pass and I’m almost finished my breakfast, so I ask again about the coffee, it was ready, had been for a wile it nobody thought to put it out. Basically I had to do a lot of getting up to ask for things, butter, oj, knife, coffee (twice) etc. tldr, not very attentive staff, and I say staff, not waitress’s as they don’t seem to have been trained to wait tables. Oh! and when the coffee did come out it tasted watered down. Not great to say the least. Also $25 is very steep considering the experience.

It was 3pm, after lunch rush & before dinner. There were a few people in seating area, but not busy at all considering the time. Went to restroom & almost considered leaving, because that is one of the places to see before eating at a place. The women's room was horrible, at this time of day there was no seat covers,TP, trash can in stall over flowing & papers on the floor. The baby changer in stall was dirty & needed wiping. There was no hand soap, it was completely empty. Could of used a sweeping in there. I've been in the food industry for 38 yrs, AND if the bathroom is dirty, it speaks volumes as to the condition of the kitchen could be. If they don't take the time to keep clean the area where the public can see, can you imagine the areas we can't see. I was ready to walk out,but my elderly friend I was with really wanted their soup, so we stayed,mind you I wanted to leave & we should have at this point. Our food arrived & my chicken soup was cold for soup standard, it was luke warm, as was my friends soup. Granted the cashier did change my soup to chicken noodle because my grilled cheese came with tomato & I'm not a fan,vso that was nice,but it was not hot& barely warm. My friend's soup was warm but not hot either. She liked her sandwich, however my grilled cheese was that great. It had grilled marks but cheese wasn't melted & it was to warm, nut a hot sandwich that it should be. I spent $28 on two sandwiches & soup with 1 lemonade & water, sooo not worth the money. For $28 I could of bought cheese & bread & the ingredients to make soup & lemonade as well as a made cookies for dessert & tipped myself & it would of tasted better & been hot. Very disappointed, then to add to the problems,the lady I assume was the manager on duty, goes & gets a cup & gets a drink from the soda fountain & is in the work area drinking it, that's 6 point violation with the Health Department. With just 1 minor violation then they'd be at a B rating. I maybe a little more picky & observing then the average person, but I work the food industry & know what's going on behind the front counter, and most of the time it's managements & owners fault for things like this.
Well that was my experience, maybe others had different that day,but I tell it like it is on my visit. I won't be back for a long time, there are better food places in the area then this corner bakery. Blessings & make your own choice weather to eat there or not.

My husband and I had a very pleasant time, full of flavor. Everything was delicious, from the pasta to the garlic bread, all perfectly prepared. The pasta, with its fresh touch of cheese, peppers, and parsley, was exquisite, and the garlic bread crispy on the outside and soft on the inside was the perfect complement. My husband enjoyed a rich coffee with bread, which made the experience even more special. On top of that, the staff was very attentive and kind throughout. We will definitely be back.

We ordered two of the pasta dishes,no flavor on either.Had to put Tapatio and lots of pepper on mine to even eat it.Very disappointed.Seemed very disorganized and lots of tables were not being cleaned,maybe lack of employees.My wife and I have a list of places not to return and this is one of them.

I love the best Cafe in La Habra where they served sandwiches, salads, pastas, and pastries. The Corner Bakery was amazing!

I recently visited Corner Bakery for the first time, and I’m glad I did! Despite being in a rush to eat and get some work done, the welcoming atmosphere made all the difference. The cashier and cooks were incredibly friendly, which set a positive tone for my visit.

I ordered a simple lunch along with some pastries, and I was able to enjoy my meal while getting some work done. The food was delicious, and the environment was perfect for a quick break. I highly recommend Corner Bakery for anyone looking for a great place to grab a bite and get some work done!
