Had the loaded ribeye burrito to go and dang this thing was meaty. It was the ideal combination of meats, eggs, potatoes, and more. It’s not your basic breakfast burrito for sure and it really hit the spot. For the price point, I’d say it was well worth it considering the size of some of their typical burgers which are often on the smaller size. This thing really hits the spot if that’s what you’re looking for.

🌯 The Smothered Yard Pimp (Buttermilk fried chicken, country sausage gravy, soft scrambled eggs, beer battered potatoes, cheddar jack, salsa verde) - This burrito is huge! It’s like a southern breakfast in a burrito! Lots of gravy and those soft scrambled eggs are amazing!
☕️ Hot Drip Coffee - Coffee is a little on the bitter side but pairs nicely with breakfast.
🥔 The Breakfast Poutine (Beer Battered potatoes, buttermilk popcorn chicken, country sausage gravy, poached fresh-cracked egg, cheddar jack, roasted pepper chimichurri, chives) - I love poutine so I definitely had to get this! It did not disappoint! The potatoes are crispy and the gravy is lusciously thick. Egg was perfectly poached with a nice running yolk.
☕️ Cold Brew Coffee - A little on the bitter side for a cold brew. Added agave syrup and cream to balance it out.
🍔 The Truffle Crunch Burger (Certified angus beef, sharp cheddar, arugula, white truffle spread, crispy fried onion, smoked jalapeño, ketchup, toasted milk bun) - Truffle aroma is strong which I love but didn’t really taste it. Burger was a little dry but that cheddar cheese made up for it. It had a sharp cheddar flavor along with a creamy texture. I could eat that cheese forever!
🥩 Ribeye Steak & Egg (Thin-sliced ribeye asada, sharp cheddar, fresh-cracked over medium egg, lemon dressed arugula, caramelized onions, roasted pepper chimichurri, smoked paprika spread, toasted milk bun) - This sandwich is full of flavor! It’s like having steak & eggs breakfast in a bun. And the bun… fabulous! It was toasted perfectly for a little crunch yet pillowy on the inside. And that cheddar cheese… Can’t wait to order this again with the Breakfast Poutine!

Today at 10:57 am I had a breakfast burrito and it was delicious but the place was hot no AC plus the cook was taking orders and cooking too, 10 minutes later 2 girls appeared and took over the front, there was no coffee and no green salsa.

It's just ok. Dining area was in need of tables wiped down. Music too loud. Stuffy. You have to wait in lines by tables and it's just not welcoming as a whole.
Service was fine. I ordered a chorizo burrito. Chorizo was charred, the battered potatoes were well done. Overall, it was just okay. Room for improv.

First time eating here and was very satisfied. As soon as I walked in and saw the menu, everything looked good and didn’t know what to get. I ended up ordering the “The Ben Franklin” and it was Egg-cellent. Staff was kind enough to let us know that there was a long wait, but our order ended up being served in a decent time. We walked, so I’m not sure about the parking situation since it’s on a busy street in DT Long Beach, but if you’re in the area, it’s definitely worth a try.

Unacceptable Mistake and Lack of Accountability
After living across the street from this establishment for over a year, I finally decided to give it a try. I placed a to-go order for the California ribeye burrito before a meeting, expecting a straightforward experience. Instead, what I received was a completely unacceptable mishandling of my order.
Upon returning home and taking a bite, I was shocked to discover that the burrito was made with pork sausage — an ingredient I explicitly avoid. I do not eat pork, and there was no indication that any substitution had been made. For an establishment that uses printed order tickets and a buzzer system to ensure accuracy, this level of oversight is inexcusable.
What’s worse is that when I called and returned to have the order corrected, there was no genuine apology, no accountability, and no effort to offer any kind of reparation for the inconvenience and distress this caused. Had I suffered from a pork allergy, this could have turned into a far more serious situation.
Mistakes happen — but how they are addressed speaks volumes about an establishment’s integrity and regard for its customers. Unfortunately, in this case, both the mistake and the response were deeply disappointing. I expected better.

Love this place!!! Me and my wife came here twice on our Cali vacation. Even though it was a 2 hour drive for us from Palm Springs it was well worth the drive. I’m obsessed with there scrambled eggs, 🤤😋 so good, and my wife loves there bacon egg cheese. Extremely jealous we don’t have any EggBred back in Texas. 😕

Absolutely no sense of service or urgency here. The staff seemed more focused on chatting with each other than helping customers. People were visibly waiting—some seated, still waiting on food, and others in line just trying to place an order. The egg sandwich? Totally mid. Tasted like a poor man’s version of Eggslut—lacking flavor, creativity, and care. Won’t be coming back.

I was happy to finally get to try this place. I've had it on my want to go places for a while now. Upon entering, looking around just puts a smile on your face. The decor is simple but warm. I'm the type of person that likes reading all the phrases on the wall while waiting for food.
The place wasn't crazy busy but it had a steady flow of customers. The lady who helped me was super nice and took the time to explain popular items and her personal recommendation for my first visit. She went above and beyond with the menu. I was very appreciative.
I ordered:
1. Breakfast burrito w/ applewood smoked bacon and sausage: It was love at first bite. It had a perfect balance of everything. This is really all you need to start your day or go back to sleep.
2. Bacon egg and cheese sandwich: I enjoyed the thick pieces of bacon, be careful the egg might pop. I didn't mind when it did. It made the sandwich even better with the ketchup and fluffy bread.
3. Beer battered potatoes: Super crunchy. Texture was different from french fries, it's like a cross between french fries and onion rings.
I can't wait to come back and try the mixed berry waffle and other breakfast or lunch items.
Zero chance I’m sitting down at a restaurant, paying restaurant prices and eating out of plastic. In addition, the waste is ridiculous. Use plates, wash your dishes.0
The owner and servers are so friendly! Also, hands down the BEST scrambled eggs I’ve ever had, and the waffles are so good!!! I can’t wait to come back. 11/10 stars.
So this review is not for any of the cashiers since they are all wonderful with great customer service. I get annoyed of all the cooks in the back being louder than the customers. Week after week I hear them laughing and talking loud obnoxiously all over the food. I think it’s okay to talk while you’re working but not talking all over peoples food. I think it’s only several of the cooks in particular. I hear profanity and conversations that have nothing to do with work. Please keep the talking to a minimum because it’s gross when you talk all over the food you’re making.
