My new favorite bakery to buy the most delicious, fresh pan dulce and empanadas! Was looking for a good spot for a long time after my spot closed. Nice people, great customer service and you can tell everything is made with love.

This place SLAPS Conchas are 10/10. They are so soft and taste so much better than anything you can get at Northgate and El Super. Prices are fair too, can't recommend enough

Started going to La Central Bakery/Panaderia about a year ago when I heard their tamales were the best around. I must say that I agree. So, when I want to eat a tamale or order for family get togethers, I go to La Central Bakery on La Habra Blvd. in La Habra. Once I went there for the first time, I was amazed at all the other food in their small store. Recently I tried the beef and potato empanada and now I'm hooked. The ladies who work in the little store are so nice and they work very hard. They take the time to make their customers feel valued. The food is all prepared fresh daily and the quality is excellent. I wish they had a restaurant but the food is all to-go. If you want the taste of homemade Mexican cuisine and a reasonable price, La Central Bakery is the place! I recommend going there early because the place is very popular and they sell out fast. Also, pre-order for large orders especially during the holidays :-)

I love a particular pan dulce and to me they have the best. I love it, my kids love it and my friends love it when I take it to them. Also the tamales are great. I'm all about the masa. It's moist and tasty and never disappoints. I went to a place in East LA and stood in line on the coldest morning that winter because a friend recommended that place. Boy was it a let down. I will never go to another place for my tamales. They have a variety as well. To top it off they are always so nice. Even if you call desperate because you forgot to put an order in. They will work with you.

Had a potluck at work and decided on Tamales. I was too lazy to cook. Order 4 each of Chicken, Cheese and Pork. Hands down, the pork was my fave and would get 5/5. Chicken was 4/5 and a little spicy. Cheese/Raja gets a 3/5. Masa is very smooth, velvety and moist. Not crumbly like others. Would definitely come back for the Pork and Chicken tamales. Service was excellent and they have a great selection of pan dulce. It's a small bakery and space can be tight when busy but the ambiance is comforting and you know it's good because there always seems to be customers. I'll be back.

You know it's a great place when the line is out the door! I went to pick up tamales this morning and loved being known and greeted by the staff. Everyone was friendly and accommodating despite the rush of the holiday.

Great place for some pan dulce. It's a small bakery but has good authentic pan dulce with a variety to choose from. They also offer cakes, tamales, atole, champurado and much more!

First and last time coming here they're rude, don't care if they messed up ur order. They try to say it's ur fault cause you didn't say when I didn't no if I wanted my whole fresh fruit cake decorated other than picking it up and it being plain with white frosting. They trimmed the bottom of the cake but who looks at that its the top of the cake that matters that should look presentable. Why is all the baked goods baked? U dnt go in to buy them and having to bake it first. When I paid for the cake I had to mention to write happy birthday instead of them initialing it. Who does that as common courtesy you as an employee ask what you want written on the cake or how do you want it decorated. They don't even sell decorations so you can put on when they give a plain frosted cake. They try to jazz it up w/ sprinkles. When you complain they dnt care the oldest lady who took my order TRIED to LIE saying she didn't take my order when I recognized her voice. The old lady should retire cuz she's bitter rude and doesn't care. Won't even offer you anything for the trouble.
