I finally got to try their tamales and they were great! The red Chile pork was the best in my opinion, but as others have stated, all the tamales are moist and not dry like many other places. I can’t wait to place my advanced order in time for Christmas. THANK YOU LUCY'S!!!

Their sweet bread is delicious. You have to try their tamales. The masa is soft and airy and the meat is delicious. You have to stop by and try them.

Have any of you neighbors experienced bad customer service as well? Went to Lucy Bakery 2 today. Ordered only 2 tamales and a piece of carrot cake. Lucy was too busy talking to someone via mobile device, from the moment I entered until I left. When I first entered, I thought perhaps she was going to finish her conversation. Not the case, instead she had me waiting for awhile before greeting me and finally taking my order. Guessing she was too focused on her conversation, so she rings me up for 4 tamales and the carrot cake. With Lucy still enthralled in her conversation, I brought it to her attention. All she did was point to her earpiece device and told the person she was talking to in Spanish, "Pobrecita.......blah blah, blah." So, by her pointing to her earpiece, guess that means it is okay that she did not care to offer efficient customer service it is okay that my order was wring cause she was on the phone. Okay.Customer service is everything, everywhere you go......period. I am so glad that I treat patients at the hospital with 100% excellent service & care. Customer service everywhere seems to be slacking, even from owners. Upon my initial visit, months ago Lucy & her husband were so engaging; and shared their love story with me. (Day he proposed to her). We talked about how Covid affected them and their business; and I shared that my husband had died of Covid 19 & Covid Pneumonia. Went back a 2nd time and she seemed stand ~offish, in spite of it not being busy. Only other people in the bakery were her daughter & significant other. Today I visited Lucy's bakery to orderMy favorite beet juice. It was so delicious and natural. Every-time I visit this one of a kind bakery I always get excellent service and owners are always so welcoming and attentive.
i have visited this bakery a couple times before & enjoyed their tamales. unfortunately, this time i received the wrong order and called in to inform them and they said they would give me an extra tamale when i came in again to order for more, which i did and they completely ignored everything afterwards when i came in. your customer service is important and you're not caring enough.

I got a ham and turkey torta last time I came and that thing was packed with avocado, ham, lettuce, tomato, and Mayo. I do think it was a little pricey but it kept me full the whole day.

Love coming to Lucy’s bakery early morning for my green and red tamales before they sell out. The tamales are always so spongy and warm that my mouth gets soo watery before even taking a bite. I also enjoy their escamocha and flan so delicious. The owners are so friendly and always maintain their bakery clean, that it feels like home. Strongly recommend this bakery to anyone that’s craving tamales. 10/10 ?
