We were craving Thai food but what we experienced was food more of a version that felt made by an airline company with the effort of a Denny's server ready to retire except 50 years younger.

We went for the lunch special option and I suppose from the lack of effort the server made to guide us to a table it should've been an indicator that we had to learn the hard way that we should have turned right around and found another place.

Tom kha had more of a sweetness to it than you'd expect and the tomatoes and onions barely fit in the fire pot it was served in. Apparently here you have to give consent to have the THAI FIRE POT lit up otherwise you just get warm soup in a traditional dish. Why serve it in a classic serving vessel and then throw the body language like it's a hassle to give the full presentation after you asked us if we wanted it lit up?!

Pork spare ribs tasted like it was boiled and then drowned in bottled char siu sauce and served with cheap rice that dried out so quickly you could've made fried rice after your 3rd bite.

I suppose there would've been a saving grace if there was someone better to have served us. Or maybe just save the extra money and automate the ordering process with a QR code instead of some 20-something year old that would rather rant to a takeout regular like it's a therapy session over making sure the only 2 tables in the restaurant were accommodated.

Maybe it's the demographics for the neighborhood, maybe they were just having a bad day for the restaurant, or maybe we had high expectations based on the reviews. Regardless of what the situation may be we will continue to find options that fit our wants out of a dining experience.

Everything was great except for the Diet Coke can that cost $3.00. At least the cashier was good enough to tell me about it after I ordered it. I ordered it (2cans, infact), anyway.

Since moving to Whittier 3 years ago, we tried multiple thai spots, and My Thai became our go-to spot. We dined more than a hand full of times and ordered out at least 1- 2 times a month.

I have a family of 6 but my son doesn't eat the food due to his autism. We always tip generously. Yesterday, while dining after we received the bill and she informed us that an 18 % gratuity was added due to our party size. When I asked them about it, she said it's always been a policy and I told them we been there before and was never told that or been on our bill. I can tell she got a bit annoyed and got a bit of a dismissive tone.

Look I don't mind paying a gratuity, but I would like to know ahead of time and not be surprised when getting the bill. Although every prior experience have been enjoyable, yesterday will be my last time Dining in. The experience rubbed me the wrong way.

The orange Tofu is an excellent option for anyone wanting vegan or a plant based meal. Really tasty.

Good vegan friendly options, good attentive service and comfortable casual setting. I would return again.

Orange tofu was nicely fried and flavorful. We had 2/5 spice for one of the dishes which was mild for me, if you want Thai spicy you'll want to ask for extra oil/peppers on the side.

The portion is so small. You cannot do business like this.

To be honest, I'm not familiar with Thai food, but I really enjoyed the food here. We were a large party (about 14 of us) and not one person had anything negative to say about the food. Everyone loved it. I had the Mongolian beef, and the chicken chow mein... Both delicious! Everyone tried something different (shrimp fried rice, broccoli beef, etc.) and they all liked it. The place was clean and a little trendy looking. The service was great. I would definitely come back.

Great vegan options. I did the lunch special with yellow curry which was a little on the spicy side but delicious. Great deal for lunch.

We decided to order some Thai food and decided on some pineapple shrimp curry, beef teriyaki with vegetables and edamame. Our order arrived on time and still hot. The items were individually wrapped and tied, especially the curry with no spillage. Everything looked with large cut sizes and my shrimp was also a decent size. The edamame was lightly salted and was a decent serving size. Everything tasted great.
