I came to my Indian best friend party at R banquet La Habra . Love this Indian food they have I been to so many Indian restaurants this is best place they even have Mexican food Italian . I will book my event here too. Very nice banquet hall clean and service is top.

Overall this is a great facility to host an event. The star of the show at this establishment is Mitush. He has to go above and beyond in customer service due to the owner's laissez-faire attitude. We paid for our date a year in advance and were advised that the owner (Eddie) would be in contact within 30-60 days of event. We didn't hear from Eddie and reach out but as some reviews here state, he was non communicative. We made call and text that went unanswered. This is very unfortunate as it adds to the stress of any event. Every call with Mitush was great but as an employee is limited to the decision making process of any event. If you books this venue you will find as many reviews say that the food is grade A, the facilities overall are very nice, Mitush's service is outstanding. The struggle as most find is finalizing the event with Eddie. Unless it revolves around making payments, Eddie is hard to get a hold of. A few things to be aware of: ° some of the banquet tables are rotting and they just place table clothes over them. ° if you are using their large screens for video, please have 2 USB drives so your guest can view your slides as the TV are not mirrored. ° if you host a bar, the bar allows guest to take as many drinks per visit as possible. So you need to set boundaries like 1 drink per guest. The main reason I didn't rate this venue lower is because Mitush's customer driven approach to doing business. Our event turn out great but we had elevated stress levels due to lack of communication from the owner. Best of luck and cheers to all future guest of R Banquet.

First off I want to start off by saying I don’t know what Eddie these past reviewers are talking about , from what I seen these are months old reviews because Eddie the owner we got made everything stressful… He came off money hungry. When we sat and discussed our wedding and money we were told as long as everything was paid atleast 2 weeks before our event, yet he constantly texted asking for money. He’s all good in the beginning. Giving you promises and can make anything happen. And as soon as he has the money. We get no answers. No call backs. Nothing. I texted him in April. Still no response. Anyways. But real star of the show and frankly should be owner. Is Mitush , considering everything we needed answered was last minute. He was there to help us. He was very understanding and easy to work with. So if you’re considering this place. Definitely make sure you’re working with Mitush , otherwise you’ll be paying per question you have. This place is a nice sized venue. Has chandeliers, colored lights and a bar, Plain but lets you add your vision so that’s good. And food was delicious. Overall yes I’d recommend this place. Just work with Mitush. I’d like to add another person to mention. If you’re looking for a decorator, I highly recommend Memos Flowers located in La Habra. He transformed this place beautifully. Incredibly easy to work with makes you’re vision a reality.

The food is excellent. The malai kofta is very buttery and creamy--absolutely delicious! The ambience and the space provided by the restaurant is also great. I have been here many times and usually weddings/receptions are hosted at this location. The only downside is that parking is somewhat difficult. I would absolutely give this place a try!

Our experience at R banquet was absolutely amazing. The staff was professional, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our event perfect. The venue was beautifully decorated, the food was delicious, and every detail was handled with care for my daughters quinceanera . Highly recommend this hall for weddings, celebrations, or any special occasion!

I’ve now celebrated two quinceañeras for my daughters here, in 2024 and 2025. Both experiences have been beyond amazing! The hall itself is absolutely gorgeous with stunning chandeliers that set the perfect atmosphere. The food is delicious, and the staff is fantastic, in particular, Mitush is so attentive, supportive, and truly caring. I couldn’t have asked for a better Venue to host such special milestones for my girls. Highly recommend!

Use the banquet hole for a wedding reception. Had a great time. Mitush Was great and so was the rest of the crew. They was on top of everything anything we needed we asked for they got it done thank you guys for all your help.

The security they have there were Extremely rude, they act like they were police officers and didn't spoke much English. Owner had the worst Hygiene and did not fully completed his end on thecontract with therightDecoration. I and some attendees got food poisoning from the food with a blend of poorly made Indian food and Hispanic mixed really awful. They had Children under age serving and busing tables whichwas sketchy.
