What are the last meals that my mom got to enjoy came from this restaurant she just wanted a side of beef ribs and did she enjoy them? This was last April 2024. Saturday the 13th. It started pouring my Nephew and we went to go do a delivery. It’s a day. I can’t forget. I also dropped off a beautiful birthday cake down the street thank you Ruby red’s barbecue that’s one of the last meal. My mom got to enjoy.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ (but I’ll definitely be back!)
Okay, let me start by saying I rated the food a three — but I will go back. Let me explain…
The decor is adorable and super welcoming — a fun mix of rustic charm with a modern twist. I loved the digital screens that look like windows in the booths. The place smells amazing when you walk in, and everyone leaving looks full and happy. The staff couldn’t have been nicer — friendly, polite, and really helpful with recommendations. Portions are generous, so trust me, you won’t leave hungry!
Clean bathrooms!
Here’s what I tried:
• Fried Pickles: Fantastic — crispy, golden brown, and full of flavor.
• Cornbread with Maple Butter: Another winner. I could’ve eaten a dozen of these little clouds of goodness.
• Ribs: 7/10 — good flavor, but they seemed boiled before grilling, which isn’t my favorite style.
• Baked Beans: 10/10 — amazing! Deep, rich, perfectly seasoned — I heard it’s a family recipe, and it tastes like it.
• Creamed Corn: 7/10 — creamy and good.
• Mac & Cheese: 6/10 — fine, just didn’t wow me.
• Greens: 6/10 — decent but could’ve used a little more seasoning.
• House 0 — not my favorite.
• Pulled 0 — on the dry side, even with sauce.
• 0 — sadly, this was the big miss. Dry and lacking flavor, which was disappointing because I really wanted it to be great.
The bignets: HEAVY!!! If they sold them as fried biscuits it would’ve been a better idea. So heavy and salty thick center not pillowy soft and airy as they should be. Pretty golden brown though!
Overall, I actually really like this place. The atmosphere and service were excellent, and those beans and cornbread are reason enough to come back. Next time, I’ll try a few different menu items — and yes, I’ll be wearing my stretchy pants! 😄

Nick and Jake are kind and professional owners of this amazing Texas BBQ restaurant! Their dad created the ambiance and its saloon to be authentic and perfect for photos, making you feel like you stepped into the old West. It’s a perfect room to entertain a large party, yet feels very intimate and elegant with the chandelier and decor. The pulled pork, brisket, back and cheese, creamed corn, peach cobbler, and beignets are a few of my favorite dishes. The family recipes makes you feel like you are back home on a Texas Ranch! This is a fantastic place to have any type of celebration with a hometown Texas Twist! The service is excellent and the servers are kind especially Britan ! Jake is always smiling and the chef is amazing !

Such a good BBQ joint. Got the ~$70 meal for 2 with baby back ribs, pulled pork, chicken breast, sausage link, brisket, and 2 sides.
Mac and cheese was bomb and the sweet corn was like a chasca (esquite) but cheesy which was also really good.
Highly recommend the Huckleberry cider 🤙🏽
First time here. The food was very good my favorite was the corn bread & sweet butter! The family feast was perfect 👌 a bit of everything. The service was great very attentive & fast. The decor was so beautiful. Perfect for a messy cute rib date. Definitely will be going back
Quality of BBQ was okay. The chicken breast was dry AF. And the night we decided to go, the owner (i assume) was having a get together with his family. No problem in that, but the kids of the family were running around and making too much noise and chaos. It was also apparent that the staff was bending over backwards for them, and not giving much attention to the other customers.
But to summarize, I come from texas. I make BBQ, and have eaten at many joints. This just isn't the best version of BBQ you can buy.
A must try!
I usually not taking pics of my food cause I'm chowing down.
I dare you you say that food is not good! Great place to visit and eat good
I hope this place never closes. Great food, great interior.
