You can look at the displays but the folks who work there are behind high counters. Don't let that deter you!

I need a cake done within 1 week or so, I gave Sugar mamas a try and I have never tasted there cakes before till I got some mini cupcake and they were delicious. I sent pics of the GUCCI purse I wanted and I came out AMAZING!!

I hate leaving bad reviews but this place is TRASH. Just went in and asked for 10-15 cake pops for tomorrow. The guy told me that they usually ask for 2 weeks for a custom order. Mind you, they have about 10-15 sitting in the display case right now. He said he doesn't know if they will have the manpower or supplies to make it in 24 hrs. Hmmn, so I asked him who made these? So do you mean to tell me that I can't even get a fresh dozen of glorified donut holes in 24 hours? Maybe I just spoke to the least informed employee in the place but they just lost a customer with a sweet tooth.

I am sooo glad I found Sugar Mamas to make the cake for my daughter's 18th birthday. It was beautifully decorated and more importantly.... delicious! We did taste testing of their cupcakes to figure out the flavors for our cake and honestly, you cannot go wrong with any of them. They were really accommodating and their service is really good. We chose a naked cake and gave them a picture of the design together with the artificial flowers to use. And I couldn't be happier with the result. Big KUDOS to the cake decorator and of course, the baker. Thank you sooo much.

Had a box of cupcakes delivered to me for my birthday yesterday. The gentleman that delivered them was very nice and dressed super sharp. I was in a bathrobe lol but he was very friendly and wished me a happy birthday. There is an assortment of deliciousness that I have only scratched the surface on, but so for my tastebuds are happy as can be. The cupcakes are ridiculously good. I loved that there was a little whip cream filling in the red velvet, the Carlton had it as well. I'm not a lemon person but wow, the Little Miss Sunshine was delicious. So hard to pick a favorite, but I still have 6 more flavors to go!

I love this spot and have been here multiple times, I normally order their mini cupcakes and do an assortment. The cupcakes are simply amazing and delicious, I've tried their cookies and other baked goods, everything here is tasty and so good, you can't go wrong with anything you order!! I took their assorted mini cupcakes to my job's Holiday Party and everyone loved them. Several coworkers were asking me for the bakery's name and location. I'm a loyal customer that had recommended this sour to family and friends.

I hate to write this review because the bakery is adorable, the staff is super sweet, and the baked goods are beautiful... but, their buttercream is AWFUL. It's apparently Swiss meringue buttercream, but it tastes like pure shortening. No flavoring, not even a hint of vanilla, or a buttery flavor, just straight Crisco. It was so bad that everyone in my family wound up scraping the buttercream off and eating the cake by itself. My sugar-obsessed 3 year old wouldn't even eat it. If they fixed their buttercream, they'd get 5 stars from me!

OMG, this is the best bakery in La Habra. I first tried this bakery because they participate in the 2Good2Go app. So, I tried their cupcakes. All were fantastic. For the second time on the app, I got oatmeal raisin cookies (my favorite! how did they know?), 2 cupcakes, and three mini cupcakes. The absolute best cupcake is their coconut. So tender and the flavor is spot on. But then I could not leave without buying their Pecan Bars. I pinched off a corner before delivering these to my parents. I really wish I would not have done that because they are so good. So yes, I'm the "good daughter" but now, I'm sad I did not buy more. OH, and during my two visits to the bakery, they were boxing up specially designed occasion cakes. WOW! Those looked great. I will definitely be ordering for the holidays :)

I moved to La Habra over a year ago so I don't know the area that well but I came across Sugar Mamas on Yelp, so I decided to entrust them with making my daughter's 1st birthday cake. I had sent a request for a quote via email and followed up by a visit to the store to complete my order. The gentleman completing my order was polite and helpful, and in the process we also grabbed a cupcake to go. The cupcake was very good so we were very excited for my little girl's birthday cake. On the day of her birthday we had it delivered on time and it was absolutely perfect and everything we asked for. The cake itself was delicious and not dry. My daughter and all the guests loved it. I'm very glad to have found my new go-to cake spot here in La Habra!

From all the reviews, it looks like they are known for their custom work but I'm hear to tell you they also have items for walk in. I got there close to closing but looks like they still had a great selection of cupcakes, cake pops, & other baked goods. I got an assortment of cupcakes and they were all delicious but my favorite was the chocolate caramel cupcake. The cake was light and the frosting was decadent but not sickly sweet.
