Another great meal! We went to brunch today and it was excellent. We had the corn and lobster soup which was amazing. We also had the halibut and the chicken salad sandwich and both were very good. The quality keeps up time after time and the setting is classy and upscale.

Nice dinner. A little loud as there was a wedding reception. Our table location wasn't great as we were outside under the big pine tree and obstructed view of ocean which was why we booked it to see the sunset.

Good experience overall but I am a little bit astonished (and upset) that my first dish was served in a broken plate, despite telling the waiter nothing was done to change this. I could definitely have injured myself.

Food was not great and very overpriced. Lovely location but quality of the food has declined dramatically in past year and price of an entree has gone up significantly. Go for a drink on the terrace instead.

There to celebrate our 39th Anniversary. All good until 4 people sat at table across, loud, and the “F” bomb in every other sentence. My husband had to ask them to stop. Another table with 4 were drunk and loud. This is a small room. Why put the. In this small room? Couple next to us left. Father/son in the middle were so quiet and surprised by noise level. Won't be back anytime soon.

My girlfriend and I went here for our anniversary and it was a great experience! They gave us three items that were on the house and complimented our dinners of lamb rack and rib eye very well. The food was delicious and the drinks were strong but amazing. We were sat inside and it was not busy at all, hence the quiet ambiance but the outside portion looked and sounded a little livelier. They had a custom menu that said "Happy Anniversary and gifted us a copy of the menu and a dessert tasting plate as our anniversary gift. Overall a great experience!

We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary at AR Valentien. We are both native San Diego and this is one of our favorite restaurants in San Diego for celebration special occasions. Did not disappoint. The food and service was excellent and can't beat the atmosphere on the balcony. Truly a beautiful summer sunset evening and would highly recommend the Lodge.

Our experience was nothing short of fabulous! Mick our waiter was attentive and made excellent recommendations on cocktails & food. We sat on the veranda and enjoy a stunningly beautiful sunset! The experience was top notch!

Fancy, old style, with a great view of the golf course and ocean. Time the sunset if you can. Service excellent, stop into the adjacent bar if time allows. Dinner offerings very good, not excellent Had seabass and prim rib, both very good. A classy place.

My wife and I greatly enjoyed our supper in this beautiful setting at the Lodge at Torrey Pines. My wife ordered the rack of lamb, which was very tasty and tender. She also greatly enjoyed the stone fruit salad. I ordered halibut, which also was delicious. Many thanks for a superb dining experience.

Exceptional service, wonderful food and ambiance, personnel makes you feel as a very special guest. The food is very delicious and the presentation is amazing. The very warm atmosphere makes returning back to them.

My out of town son and I went to have our favorite breakfast at a much loved venue to celebrate “a job well done “. As always, from the moment we drove up, we were enveloped by Graciousness: by the staff, by the hotel's beauty and finally by the delicious food. Always a pleasure. Highly recommended.

This is a lovely restaurant with nice ambiance whether you sit inside or out. The food was good with some interesting items on the menu. We had excellent service and we liked that our server did not try to push things on us. Also the kitchen sent out little extra items which was such a treat. This is a great place for a special evening.

Excellent! I'm extremely happy and impressed with every single team members. Our set up was amazing. Thank you to Sandra manager and our server-wine specialist Mick for all of his help. I hardly recommend to everyone! Camille

A party of three, we had a spectacular lunch yesterday on the outdoor terrace at Torrey Pines. All aspects deserve a grade of A plus! The food was outstanding. Corn/lobster soup, halibut, burrata salad, hummus plate and peach shortcake- whew! Mouth watering, creative, beautiful looking. We couldn't stop raving. Fairly priced and considering how delicious the food was, a smart purchase. The waiter was a gem. So attentive, helpful, and kind to supply me a blanket and turn the heater on. The bartender excellent helping us with wine choices and history of the lodge and its gorgeous furnishings and flower arrangements. BTW the breads out of this world and butter must be European. We shared bites to prove to each other how fabulous the food was. Can't wait to go back for other lunches and try dinner!! A world class restaurant. And chocolate bonbons to finish- wow!
