Recommend this place of you want the best of everything! Service was on time ,thoughtful , and diligent. The food was fresh, delicious, and just phenomenal ! Atmosphere was tranquil, good music too . Love and miss this place. Cheap Poke bowl, I get the Salmon one. The portion is good and the salmon always tastes quite fresh. I always do it for pickup and they always have it done SO fast. They have a pretty sick happy hour too.

Our server was great! The only time we were left alone for a significant amount of time was after her first check-in once our entrees arrived and while waiting for a to-go order after the meal, though I would harldy say the latter was her fault.
The food was very good and pretty reasonably priced for La Jolla. We didn't wait terribly long for the appetizers, nor our entrees.
Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would gladly come back again.

Cute little restaurant with outdoor patio by the ocean. The scent in La Jolla is fishy due to the pelican, comorants, and sea lions. Should be considered if seated with ocean view outside. The food was delicious , the Nutella bao definitely our favorite. But, who doesn't love Nutella or baos?

Food was delicious and the view was incredible, but our service was mediocre at best. The food pacing was all over the place. My dessert arrived before my main dish, and the person dining with me needed to wait another 30 minutes after that for their 5 very simple Nigiri. When it finally arrived the waitress said “the chef likes to take his time and make sure it’s perfect”. Apparently it was delicious, but I feel like the pacing should accommodate that? Really sad to be leaving this review since I love the one in Little Italy.

Visiting from out of town and excited to try Harumama. I added my name to the waitlist and patiently waited 20 minutes, only to watch other guests walk in and get seated immediately. As a Latina customer, the experience felt dismissive and left me wondering if I was being overlooked for who I am. Extremely disappointed.

We had a fun dinner here while visiting friends! We brought our 4 year old and he was the only child in the building all night. It felt a little too upscale for us, especially with a child. Maybe lunch is different, but it was pretty quiet and didn’t feel like our son should have been there.
Otherwise this food was really great & our sever was lovely.

Our “go to” sushi restaurant in the village. Everything is always fresh, especially the king salmon sushi and sashimi. The non-sushi dishes are quite good as well (ramen, buns, salads). Nice view and decent service - no issues at all but don’t expect Eddie V’s approach. Their model is more flexible such that different people can take your order and deliver the food.
Went for happy hour and they have several great deals. Got a seat at the coastal view window booth and couldn't have been happier, more on that later.
$7 spicy tuna roll that was better than most any I've had, they mix the spicy in the patte like I've not seen. 10/10. Happy Sushi plate that was a delicious combo of 4 good sized salmon and tuna sashimi, delicious. 4 maki tuna pieces, yum. Then the 4 piece sashimi of salmon, tuna, yellowtail and albacore (the winner).
Happy hour sake was a bit too sweet but mellowed as I ate. The house wine was also pretty decent.
The view though was the icing on the cake. Cormorants were all over the cove just chilling. Seals were in a cute pod and playing in the surf. Pods of dolphins were popping around. Flocks of seagulls were a delight. The sun was setting and it was gorgeous.
