Chef hooked it up today. Kudos and thank you. The Omakase was beyond amazing, especially for the price. It was definitely worth it. The 2 collar items as appetizers are a steal for the price and quality. When I want sushi with a view in La Jolla I am coming here.

Food is delicious but service is horrible. Recruitment should be more selective about staff selection. I had to get up to get the chili oil I requested because I figured when it got close to 10 minutes no one was coming. And my water was frequently empty and i was rarely checked on to see if I needed anything. I did not feel like the staff wanted to be there and despite being not even half occupied the service for the establishment was not great. I can’t imagine if it was a full house.

The food was amazing and the prices are really great for sushi Oceanside view. Unfortunately the service was poor. We were not checked in often. Our plates kept piling up because they weren’t taken away. We had to waive our server down multiple times because we weren’t being attended to. Stayed three hours because the service took that long.

Ordered the chicken katsu, it was delicious. My wife got the salmon and we ordered a california roll and the rabbit (Nutella) & chicken bun, all of them were pretty good.
I’m so thankful this restaurant was recommended to me! It is a hidden gem in La Jolla absolutely perfect for date night. Definitely worth waiting for a table with a view. Mamas buns are so cute and such a unique idea. Pig bun was super tasty and I need to go back for one of the dessert buns. Ramen was also 11/10. We did not get sushi but the rolls I saw being brought out looked amazing. We loved everything about this place and would definitely go back.

We stopped in to LA Jolla to check out the sea lions, vibes, etc. and found this awesome sushi (and more) restaurant close to the coastal walkway. Great views! Everyone was incredibly pleasant and helpful! The food was solid! We got the Padres and California rolls - both were great but the Padres was unique and so tasty! We also got the salmon which came with a cabbage-based mix and white rice. I loved it! A side of one of the best orders of fried rice rounded out our meal. The prices were surprisingly modest, as well. Highly recommend!

The food here was very good, the bulgogi fries were kind of soggy at the bottom, but very delicious nonetheless. The calamari was great, and the broths for the noodles were also amazing. Sushi rolls were also very flavorful. The dessert was good, but it’s more stunt food than anything amazing. Overall, I would come visit this place again, very enjoyable experience with a nice ocean view.
