if you hate yourself like i do you’d fork over $15 for the driest thai bbq chicken of your life

They add way too little protein/ noodle in the soup. However, food was good!

Pad Thai is slimy, way too much sauce and chicken tastes weird, decent portions

I’m a student at UCSD and blue pepper is a great place to get some lunch. Wasi always brings a welcoming environment to the restaurant. Def try the drunken noodles !

I honestly only ever eat Chicken Pad Thai when it comes to Thai food and honestly this place doesn’t do it too poorly. The chicken can be a hit or miss. I’ve had the driest nastiest chicken breast sometimes, but then i’ll go and it’ll be some really decent chicken thigh.

I also have to say that I like how spacious the interior is and the proximity to the restrooms. You can get there, wait a little until a table is free and then just drop your stuff off while you wash your hands and settle in. I go to the General Store before coming here and get all my drinks there (1$ Arizonas).

Overall, it’s a solid place. Definitely not DAYGOEATSCERTIFIED✅ but I can say that I approve and if you want Thai food in a pinch here on campus, this is not a bad contender.

I also would ask for no green onion (Idk why I didn’t like it at this place).

This place is super hit or miss when it comes to the beef noodle soup. One day it'll be good, the next day it will be so bland I consider getting a refund. Probably going to stop going here because it's more miss than hit.

Pretty decent food when I want (more real) Asian food. This place takes Triton Cash too which is convenient. Service is fast and tables and floors get sweeper pretty regularly

Hope they have more warm lights and turn on heater. The place is always cold.

Decent Thai spot in the UTC area, especially for UCSD students. Not gonna be the best Thai food but the portions are big, the service is fast, and it gets the job done. I usually order the drunken noodles or one of the rice + curry options. Yes the drunken noodles can be very greasy and very spicy but that's not a problem for me. I don't recommend the soy milk, it's of questionable freshness. The tom yum noodle soup is also good, but quality is hit or miss (once I got it and it was wayyyy too salty to finish). It's definitely not made to order but it's a step above HDH and most other dining options on campus with similar prices. It also has a microwave and plenty of tables / chairs to heat up your own food and study.

Worst Thai food I've ever had. Got the pad see ew. The portion size is pretty big and the food comes out like 3 minutes after you order so none of it is "fresh" or made to order obviously. The taste is sour and bitter. The heat is uneven. It's actually gross. The Thai iced coffee tasted like nesquik with ice cubes. A couple of sips and I had to toss it. No thanks.Get tacos instead, this asian food is so bad it's like an Asian hate crime given physical manifestation.
