We LOVE this food -- soooooooo good!! The staff/owners are very attentive to our spice level as we are very specific and it is always satisfying to eat/order from Clay Oven. We order the Vegetable Korma ALWAYS and we love the garlic naan, the Butter Paneer is a favourite too but really you cannot go wrong on any vegetarian dish as they are consistently delicious! As for the meat I like the lamb dishes best. We always order extra for the next day leftover treat! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Saturday lunch, ate on the patio. Husband had the chicken makhani and saag paneer lunch special. I had the chicken tikka kabob. We also enjoyed the veggie samosas. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. All this under $50. Service almost nonexistent but they were still friendly. We would still go back for the food alone.

I order Uber eats at this place the food looked good in the app I was very excited for the fish pakora but sadly I got this instead a pic of very dry fish cover with flour but the worst part is that didn’t had no flavor at all, Indian food is full of flavor I am very disappointed 😔 I also order samosa it was okay not very good either but won’t order from here no more. Please do better at this is not good when you pay $30 dollars for 2 items and not get what you paid for!!

Really good indian restaurant in Torrey Pines. Food was really good. Their Goat curry and Saag items were top notch. Naan and Roti were very the best i have had in sometime. Must visit place if you are around.

The food was poor. There is a very basic cafe area, it certainly isn’t a restaurant.
I had a goat curry which was pretty poor and my partner had a lamb tikka that was edible. The mango lassi was nice. We were the only people there whilst all the other restaurants around were bustling and had a great atmosphere. I can now see why.

The lunch deal is the best deal in La Jolla and one of the best deals in San Diego! The food is always full of flavor, the lassi is bomb and the naan comes straight out of the oven. My favorites are the korma(veggie or lamb) and the saag paneer. Love it

HORRIBLE! I ordered through Uber Eats and received the wrong order! How does one eat a container of plain rice and pakoras when this is NOT what I had ordered?? Nobody picks up the phone so I cannot even get this resolved. Never using this restaurant again!

Hands down best Indian food I have ever had. I have had a wide variety of options and I have loved all of them. I believe the owner is there a lot and he is the one I pick my food up from. He is always very respectful and nice. This place does not disappoint. I highly recommend.

Delicious Indian food at a great price!The lunch special is an amazing value $14 for two entrees rice and naan. Was easily two meals for me. The employees were very nice and friendly. Definitely the best value in the area. The sauces were so creamy and smooth and well spiced. I got the chicken tikka masala and the Chana masala. Definitely would order from here again.

I had an exceptional dining experience at Clay Oven Indian Cuisine! The Chicken Tikka Masala was flavorful and tender, and the Yellow Dal was a delightful surprise. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the meal even more enjoyable. Highly recommend! ??
