⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A La Jolla Gem with Incredible Service!
We had an amazing experience at Cove House in La Jolla — the food, the views, and the atmosphere were all top-tier, but what truly made our visit memorable was the outstanding service from Caitlin P. She was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of.
Caitlin had great menu suggestions, was incredibly personable, and her timing was perfect throughout the meal. It's rare to find someone who truly elevates the dining experience, and she absolutely did that.
From the fresh coastal dishes to the relaxed, breezy vibe of the patio, Cove House is a must-visit when you're in La Jolla. We’ll definitely be back — and we’ll be asking for Caitlin!

Went to Cove House in La Jolla with a big group after running the Rock n Roll Half Marathon in San Diego and this place was legit a solid choice to eat after. I totally get why it has so many reviews, the food was actually really good and had great flavor. I ended up getting the Cove Burger cooked medium rare and it was absolutely fire. Super juicy, flavorful, and the fries were crispy with some solid seasoning. The brussel sprouts were alright but honestly lacked flavor and just felt kinda flat. The shrimp though was a huge win, super juicy and cooked right which is always a nice surprise since shrimp can easily be dry. The chicken tinga tacos were tasty but pretty small, wish they were a little bigger for the price. French toast got wiped out so quick I barely got a second look at it, but from the bite I had it was definitely worth ordering again. We also got the shrimp aquachile which was bomb, fresh and tangy with a good kick, but the tortilla chips it came with were stale and tasted like they had been sitting for days which kinda threw it off. Still, overall I’d recommend the spot. The view is great, the vibe is chill, and the food hits the spot after a long day or race.

Cool restaurant with a nice view of the water in La Jolla. Food was good and fresh but I’d say mostly average. They do not take reservations so be mindful.

Such a cool, easygoing place with simple food very well made from quality ingredients.
So much better valued that some of the other over complicated and overpriced restaurants locally.
