Cute little place near park for a bit to eat. Offers views of the water just across the road.

Great breakfast all around. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meal. Tasty drinks and can’t beat the location. Our waitress was sweet.

Great location. The salmon and avocado toast was great. No espresso but the drip coffee was good. Good service.

Beautiful view, gets really busy on a Sunday! Strong smell of the ocean. Free 3hr parking available. Parked in the public parking garage with a fee of $35/day.

Low key, good vibes, delicious food, and good drinks.

It’s a small little place, but does a lot with a little.

Food was delicious, fast, and views were beautiful. It’s a cozy little restaurant with a view of the ocean. Drinks were also good and refreshing. The only downside is parking, but we found it worth the hassle. They do have gluten free options and note them clearly on the menu, which I appreciated! Hoping to try the yellowtail sashimi tacos next time. :)

We stopped here twice during our trip to the San Diego area. Both times for breakfast, the location is great and so is the food!

Cove House on La Jolla Beach was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we walked in, the view alone took our breath away — you’re right on the water with a perfect, panoramic look at the coastline. It felt peaceful, upscale, and relaxing all at once.

The service was just as impressive as the scenery. The staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without ever feeling rushed or pushy. Every detail was handled smoothly, which made the whole experience feel effortless.

And the food — truly dream-level. Everything we ordered was beautifully presented and full of flavor. You can tell real care goes into the menu and preparation.

Between the incredible ocean view, top-tier service, and amazing food, this place is a gem. I’d highly recommend Cove House to anyone looking for a special breakfast/brunch experience in La Jolla. I can’t wait to go back.
