Overall: A good option for casual brunch or lunch near the park.The good: Food was great, particularly my bacon/egg/cheese sandwich. The bread was buttery, crispy, and thick, and had plenty of filling between the slices. The potatoes were seasoned and cooked well, and the portion sizes were more than filling. Service was friendly and they had high chairs for our baby.The not-so-good: They have limited hours, so don't expect a later lunch or dinner. Not a lot of outdoor seating, or even inside for that matter, so if it's busy it may be awhile before you're seated. The menu is somewhat limited.Food/drink: 8/10Atmosphere: 8/10Service: 8/10

Was chilling here for brunch on a Sunday and a seagull SWOOPED in on my plate, took a piece of bacon, and ate it right in front of all of us outside. The staff was super attentive and replaced my plate. Since I already ate my eggs they just replaced my toast, bacon, and potatoes. Very chill place to grab brunch/ lunch stuff, mimosas, and lots of other things and the staff definitely cares.

We loved it here! Really great food and a nice, cozy spot. Our server, Jason, was so kind and helpful with providing recommendations. I had the traditional eggs Benedict and my husband had the Stone Crab BLAT. Both were amazing! Can’t wait to come back the next time we’re in La Jolla.

Service was awesome we were seated right away and the food came out quickly but was cooked exactly how asked. Atmosphere is perfect. Food was amazing. Definitely recommend this place!! Try the candied bacon, steak, eggs, or burgers none disappoints. The little mermaid drink was delicious as well.
I really wanted to like this place because I need a "go-to" spot in LaJolla, but nothing made it special, which made me sad. The service was fine and friendly. Location is convenient on the way to the cove with the choice of inside or outdoor seating. Parking is hard, but that's everywhere here, so expect it. Bathroom was mostly clean. The biggest disappointment was the price of the food vs. quality and quantity. It's not worth another trip. ??

We booked the Cove House for our Wedding Welcome Dinner. It was a hit. It was conveniently located in the middle of all of the action for our wedding (we got married next door), so all of our guests just walked here. The food and drinks were delicious (taco bar + apps+cookies) and the staff were so wonderful to work with. We worked with Juliet on the planning and had a dedicated team night of. All of our guests loved it and thought it was such a lovely space right on the Cove. I'd highly recommend the Cove House for any private event or just to grab a bite to eat! Many of our guests returned throughout the weekend for breakfast and lunch.
