It’s a family owned business and everyone who works there is kind! And the rolls are always huge and hit the spot. Sad to see that their second location in Irvine closed

Stay far away from this place. Not only is the sushi terrible, the service and employees are much worse. Waiting outside over an hour for them to make 1 simple salmon roll. Whats even worse is I tried to call to place the order and the phone rang the first two times I tried to call and then they turned the phone off because the guy didn't want to take any new orders. And when I arrive the guy working is so pissed off that I'm there ordering. Shouldn't they be happy they're getting business? How is this place even open? Beyond terrible everything and very overpriced.

Best sushi in San Diego. The Jessica and Vermont rolls are my go-tos and never disappoint.

The food made both of us sick - throwing up all night. The seaweed salad smelled rancid. Pickup was smooth after some ordering issues, but I would absolutely never order from here again. I’ve been scarred from sushi for a long while.

Oh I was craving late night sushi, and I really really wanted to love this roll! I'm a huge fan of baked rolls and lobster... yes, please! Unfortunately, the execution of this wasn't that great. Way too much mayonnaise cloaked the flavor of even the lobster and the roll was so mushy. If I tried this place again I would avoid this roll and go for a raw one.

This place is take out only, so I recommend to order ahead of time, at least one hour before. The service is very slow, so don’t come here on an empty stomach, because you will be waiting for a while. The sushi was decent and fresh. The portions are large and well packed.

Fantastic baked salmon roll. Hits the spot every time. The restaurant is tucked back in kind of an unusual location but once you find it you'll be glad you did

A true locals gem. The rating on this place should be much higher than what it is. I have lived all over the country and this is still one of the best sushi places I’ve ever been to. The rice is phenomenal, the proportion of ingredients is always perfect, and the portions of the roll are really generous. Despite being around for many years, their pricing has remained reasonable and every time I’m in the area I try to order from here. I guarantee if you give this place a try it will not be your last time ordering from them.

love this place! only a 3 minute scooter ride from Rita, the lady seems to work solo most the time and has her hands full with orders. There's usually a wait because of this but call ahead! She's lovely and always has a smile. Although rolls are a bit pricey, they're huge and fill me up effortlessly. I think it's worth it. :)
