I went here during the holidays and the staff was amazing! I love their burger and their donuts are always amazing. I live in La Jolla and while a lot of reviewers here can be overly critical, these are the best donuts in the La Jolla/Birdrock area!

Very disappointing. Ordered their freshly squeezed lemonade. Can confirm it is freshly squeezed but only has lemon juice and ice- very sour and bitter. Had zero ginger, strawberry, raspberry, mint as advertised on their menu.

Real….bad. Yikes. Hate to say that but….there were about 4 people in front of us, the line took over 15 minutes to move. Not exaggerating. Realized why once we were at the front…staff moves like slugs, barely made eye contact. It was just icky. Ordered two fonts for my kids. Cost 8 bucks. They were stale. I don’t see how they were possibly made same day. I don’t see how this place ever gets repeat business. We won’t be back.

Their service is excellent and staff are very friendly. The house sourdough might be the best thing I've ever eaten. Prices are high but so is the quality.
Some things are better the cheaper they are. I think donuts may be one of those things. These are nice. The icing is particularly good. Theyre doughy, almost like cake. But more dense than the cheap deep fried version I can find in a corner market in PB.
