Unfortunately, the fresh fruit juices here did not meet expectations. There are a couple of juice machines placed in a corner, and the preparation area is not very visible, so it’s unclear whether fresh fruit is actually being used or what ingredients, i.e., water, are being mixed.
We ordered a few fresh juices, and the pineapple juice, for example, tasted very diluted and mostly like the hard center of the pineapple—watery and lacking real flavor. I shared this feedback politely with the lady behind the counter at the time, not asking for a refund or replacement, but simply to offer quality feedback. Unfortunately, she seemed uninterested and did not respond.

Our Manager Monica goes to this spot almost once a month and they never disappoint. Prices are good, and all the smoothies and juices are so good and fresh. Our team loves getting smoothies and treats here for the day while everyone tattoos. The tuna sandwich is sooo yummy! Love the green juice and the mango smoothie! Check them out :) Support small businesses

Terrible Experience at Dr. Juice (La Jolla)
I had one of the worst customer experiences ever at this place. I ordered two juices and was given two completely different ones from what I paid for. When I politely pointed out the mistake, the person behind the counter became extremely rude and disrespectful, even using bad language and telling me to “get lost” instead of simply fixing their mistake.

I couldn’t believe how unprofessional and aggressive he was. I paid for something I didn’t get, and instead of taking responsibility, he yelled at me. After seeing so many negative reviews about this place, I should have listened — now I completely understand why they have such poor ratings. I’ll never go back, and I’d strongly recommend avoiding this place. There are plenty of juice spots in La Jolla that actually care about their customers.
I had to trash both juices
I wish there was zero star option !

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The açaí bowl was really good—creamy texture, fresh fruit on top, and crunchy granola. I’m very picky when it comes to açaí bowls, so I asked a lot of questions (frozen? fresh? crunchy granola? etc.). She answered everything kindly and with patience, even though I was being pretty thorough. I’ve seen reviews saying the staff can be rude, but the person who helped me was genuinely nice. Overall, great bowl and a positive experience.

Stopped in here while walking through La Jolla. I was the only one in there so the visit was pretty quick. The smoothie was fine, I wish they had prices on their menu. $9.99 for the smoothie. I’ll probably search for a new spot next time I’m feeling a smoothie

If you are visiting La Jolla, please skip this abomination of a business. The manager is rude, abusive and despises tourists. There are so many wonderful and authentic juice shops in the village, all easily within walking distance. (Juice Cafe, Trilogy, Parakeet, etc.) As a local, this business is an embarrassment to our fine city, and I hope a business worthy of the location replaces it soon.

Stopped by Dr. Juice while in La Jolla and had a great visit. I ordered the Tropical Smoothie with honey, and it was pretty good. The staff at the front were helpful and offered some recommendations.

The space is clean. However, it's a smaller spot, so maybe serves better as a grab and go. My smoothie was around $10. I would go back to grab another smoothie on my walks through La Jolla.

One of the worse customer service and attitude. So lazy… said, I just washed my machine so I don’t feel like turning it one and cleaning it (we were party of 5)

DO NOT GO TO THIS JUICE BAR, half of the juice they make is water , they hiding the juice machine in the back so they can add water in your juice and they charge you $10 for that
Hopefully city of La Jolla can close this shop for what they are doing

the juice was average but 8.99$ is too expensive.
I regret spending 8.99$ for just a very normal pineapple juice.
They put the price very small and hard to see, it also does not include on the menu.

Had 2 juices: snake bite and pineapple with orange. Both horrible tasting, not fresh, almost rotten putrid. We didn't see them juice it fresh, most likely mixed from refrigerated juice made a while ago. Trashed both, don't bother trying here.

He said it was fresh fruit but the drink was watery and had some powder grit taste to it. We ordered a custom strawberry, boysenberry, pineapple and banana. There were absolutely no seeds from any of the fruit to be seen and you would think.the bananas would make it thicker. My son's was also watery. They tasted ok and he was friendly enough.
