It is my second visit in two weeks. There is no better venue for happy hour. Location great, ambiance classy, food delicious. Service impeccable. I think you can tell I love it. Give it a try but you might want to make a reservation.

This was our first time in over 6 years dining at Eddie V's La Jolla. What a disappointment. Time has not been kind. The dining area was dirty and worn. Food on the floor (noodles?) that the wait staff walked over time and again and never bothered to clean it up. Other detritus under table and chairs. We were seated promptly and in 20 min. Had bread and water. No beverage order, appetizer, or any other attention. We left and had a wonderful lunch down the street. I sincerely hope the management at Eddie Vs La Jolla raises the bar and returns to its former glory. Until then we will not be back.

As usual, great service and good food! Only thing tho, they don't acknowledge the OpenTable rewards, I was given $16 to use towards the restaurant but they said they don't accept it. So it's a bummer but overall, good experience and fantastic view!

Attentive yet not overbearing. Food - quality and presentation is phenomenal. Beverages - creative and reasonably priced. Staff are friendly and engaging. Then, there's the view! Can't get a better view of La Jolla,the Mediterranean of North America. Add everything together and there is no better value in town. Oh, make sure you treat yourself to dessert and order Bananas Foster. Literally to die for! 5 stars ⭐️

Eddie V’s did not disappoint. Always classy, high-end atmosphere, service and food preparation. Emily was delightful and efficient. All of our meals were attractively presented and delicious. The Lobster Mashed Potatoes were especially delicious!

We were so fortunate to celebrate the holiday at this restaurant. It was our first time and what a great impression. It began when they served us champagne and chocolate covered strawberries as we waited to be seated. By the time we made our reservation, they could only accommodate us outdoors but it’s So Cal so no problem. In fact, we were on the top patio warmed by a fire pit and overlooking beautiful La Jolla Cove. Oh the holiday dinner- outstanding. But it was great to have the choice of either the traditional dinner or anything on their full menu. Don’t miss the crab cake appetizer. The food was matched by the excellent service. Excellent all around, from the service to the appetizers and main dishes. Drinks were also delicious! Crab cake was good, but the Wagyu dumplings were my favorite! I chose to go with the Lamb chops and they were absolutely perfect! We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back!
