The local sea bass was overcooked/dry. Ceviche was more like a salsa with a few chunks of seafood in it. Highlight of the meal was the local swordfish which was cooked perfectly

We love this place! Non pretentious, just fresh and excellent food and staff is great! GO THERE if you are. Ever in La Jolla!

Excellent fish (we had bluefin, salmon, and cod), friendly service. The sides were nice too. Minus a half star because it was pretty expensive.

My wife called this Saturday. Had a big group of about 13. They said no worries come down we are first come first serve. Got in, most of our group grabbed a table and sat down. Me and a couple others stood in line to order; out the blue the manager came and basically (in a terrible manner and attitude) walked us out getting all in our face and saying that we should not have showed up with a big group without a heads up… I literally had to show him the call log about the call and even then kept yelling and basically asking us to leave. Completely uncalled for. Unprofessional. Irrational. Never had I experienced someone being triggered like that for NO apparent reason. Felt very unwelcome, unsafe and will definitely not be returning when someone like that works in the “service” industry.

Food is great and fresh but I don’t understand why I should pay mandatory 15% gratuity and then 2% surcharge while I have to stand in line to place the order!

Service was slow and portions were small and overpriced

One of my favorite places. Eat in or buy seafood to take home.

Helpful staff when choosing fresh fish to take back and grill. They cajun-seasoned it for us. Was scrumptious less than ten on a high heat grill. Forgot to get a pic but my pup was hoping we would spill. Also got tartar sauce-well done.

It's ok. Ive been here a few times over the years and I will say it's consistently ok. Staff is nice and its always been a well kept, clean environment.

This is the freshest seafood you will ever experience in San Diego.
If you choose to bring your puppy outside for a fun afternoon to dine, it’s my go to.

Great food and atmosphere. The best clam chowder ever!

Terrific, fresh seafood, market, and restaurant. The dungeon crab was as fresh as it gets. Super friendly service.

The BEST local Seabass and clam chowder in San Diego. Tried it blackened with Cajun spices with salad and brown rice. Fresh, healthy, amazing! Paired perfectly with their homemade watermelon lemonade. Lulu was very nice and helpful as well. Ten stars!

Kinda like bear flag, but they actually have bread in stock.

Food overpriced. Pretty bland. Much better fish places around. Staff is rude. Very disappointing. Don’t really understand the high reviews.
